2026/01/17 Patch Notes - Version 0.1.23

[New System]
• Added the Mid-Game Join system
- Catch-up mechanics will be applied when joining mid-game to reduce progression gaps:
* Level Catch-Up: The joining player’s level will automatically catch up to the average level of the current team
* Gear Catch-Up: The joining player will receive a gear setup similar to the current team
- Added an “Allow Mid-Game Join” button in the Lobby and Pause Menu
- Only the Host can modify this setting, and it can be changed during gameplay
- The game will automatically unpause when a player joins, preventing the session from getting stuck

[Character & Skill Fixes]
• Koraku:
- Added Skill: Guren Basic Form - Combo Slash
* Enter Flurry Slash state after using the 3rd consecutive normal attack
- Added Awakening: Charged Chain
* Level 1: After [Guren Basic Form - Combo Slash] ends, it will automatically follow up with the corresponding stage of [Guren Form I - Charged Slash] (can combo).
- Added Awakening: Cute And Foxy Slash
* Level 1: [Guren Basic Form - Combo Slash] has a 20% chance to inflict Bleed, and deals +15% damage to bleeding enemies.
* Level 2: [Guren Basic Form - Combo Slash] has a 50% chance to inflict Bleed, and deals +20% damage to bleeding enemies.
* Level 3: [Guren Basic Form - Combo Slash] has a 100% chance to inflict Bleed, and deals +25% damage to bleeding enemies. The duration limit is removed, and attack speed is further increased.
- Fixed an issue where Koraku could get stuck in the charge state after transitioning between levels
• Fixed an issue where ShiMiao's attack speed evaluation could behave incorrectly during normal attack combos
• Fixed an issue where Alice’s Carrot Mines could not deal damage

[Item Adjustments]
• Adjusted the effect of Ice Armor:
- Attack speed will no longer increase due to temporary shields
- Attack speed now increases based on maximum Energy Shield value

[UI & Readability Improvements]
• Updated key icon assets and display logic:
- Completed missing key icon assets and updated icon styles
- Unified font sizes for key icons and added an Esc icon
- Fixed an issue where unassigned or invalid keys could create empty UI slots
- Key icons now support AutoWidth for more stable display
• Steam Deck UI optimization:
- Improved text readability across Settings, Talent Tree, and Combat HUD
- Adjusted font sizes, spacing, and contrast for better readability at 1280×800 resolution
- Fixed UI overlap, clipping, and layout misalignment issues

[Localization]
• Improved localization accuracy and reduced incorrect translations
• Added Korean, Thai, and Turkish language support

[Item & Equipment Fixes]
• Fixed an issue where Horn Beast’s Foot could incorrectly trigger while the character was dead or crawling
• Fixed a crash that could occur when Horn Beast’s Foot triggered while passing through a portal
• Fixed an issue where the number of drones generated via Steam Ring for Lea was incorrect

[Bug Fixes]
• Fixed an issue where certain effects could be applied to dead targets
• Fixed missing tooltip prompts when selecting items with a gamepad

[Localization Update]

• We will continue to expand language support in the future.

  • Fixed an issue where the Horn Beast King could be pushed away by player collision.
  • Fixed a game crash that could occur when the Horn Beast King used the Tesla Coil skill.
  • Fixed an issue where the Selection Chest UI would not disappear properly.
  • Fixed an issue where Selection Chests could not land correctly.
  • Fixed incorrect Selection Chest icons displayed on the minimap.
  • Fixed an issue where the game did not pause during item selection in Single Player mode.
  • Fixed incorrect drop rate calculations for Empowered Items.
  • Fixed incorrect achievement icon displays.
  • Fixed an issue where cosmetic character meshes did not properly participate in dissolve animations.


[h2]System Adjustments[/h2]
  • Updated the Item Selection system:
     - Exchangers and Recyclers will no longer be removed when the system is enabled.
     - Items generated from Recyclers, Exchangers, or dropped by players will no longer turn into Selection Chests.

[/p][p]This year has been both fulfilling and full of challenges, marking the release of our first game after four years of development.[/p][p][/p][p]We usually focus on sharing good news, but we would like to briefly talk about our current financial situation, as transparency may help us receive more support.
We are eager to improve our staffing limitations. For example, the Christmas hat shown above could not be included in this update.
In the past, there were also holiday events we wanted to create but were unable to deliver on time.
These limitations are, understandably, tied to financial realities. Over the course of this year, we have been operating at a loss of approximately USD 80,000.[/p][p][/p][p]We firmly believe the future will be brighter, but at this moment, we genuinely need more support.
This is also why we continue to provide Early Access players with additional free skins.
We sincerely thank everyone who is supporting us right now. Your support gives us tremendous motivation to keep updating the game.[/p][p][/p][p]Currently, we are investing 120% of our budget into this project
100% of the game’s revenue plus an additional 20% from our own funds.
We promise that once our financial situation improves, we will hire more team members to ensure smoother and more efficient development going forward.[/p][p]

Seeing revenue gradually increase reinforces our belief that the game still has significant potential.
