After troubled beta and delay, Killing Floor 3 finally has a new launch date

Killing Floor 3 hasn't had a great time recently. After a rough beta test which saw the game's performance and general UI come under heavy fire, developer Tripwire delayed it indefinitely, acknowledging that it had "missed the mark." But Killing Floor 3 is back, and this time it's got a new release date that, thankfully, is just around the corner.

Killing Floor 3 now set for release on July 24 after being delayed to improve it

Killing Floor 3 was originally due to release in March, but feedback was pretty bad from their Beta and so they delayed it to rework various parts of it. Now, it's set for launch on July 24.

After biting a four month delay bullet, Killing Floor 3 finally has a new release date

Tripwire has remerged to bring co-op shooter fans everywhere - many of whom have waited years for a sequel to Killing Floor 2 - some major news about the release date of Killing Floor 3. Now, you may remember that the game actually had a March 25 release date for a while, before Tripwire suddenly took it off the calendar without providing a new date.

Tripwire Interactive has confirmed Killing Floor 3 will be launching at the end of July after the title was previously delayed out of March.

Tripwire Interactive has issued a statement confirming a new release date for the highly anticipated third Killing Floor title. The delay that saw Killing Floor 3 leave its previous launch date has now been confirmed as Community-focused. Tripwire decided to postpone the third title’s launch on March 25. Since then, the development team has been focused on using the additional time to address feedback from the player community.

Tripwire Interactive has been very transparent since the delay. The studio has shared updates regularly with fans, detailing all progress on Killing Floor 3.
