[/p][p]Hey All,[/p][p][/p][p]We're back with another short Development Update for SAND: Raiders Of Sophie! [/p][p][/p][p]A couple of weeks back in our last dev update, we announced that Sand: Raiders Of Sophie will release "When it's ready" and today we want to elaborate on that a little, so let's jump straight into the most pressing topic...[/p][h3]
When is SAND: Raiders Of Sophie releasing? [/h3][p][/p][p]In the weeks since the playtest, we’ve been hard at work going through all the feedback and suggestions we received from our players. After careful consideration, in order to ensure we meet the expectations of our players and are able to properly address everything we've learnt from the playtest, we need a little more time. As a result, we’ve decided to move the game’s launch to Q1 2026.[/p][p]Releasing the game is a milestone we only get one chance to hit, and we want to make sure that when we do, it reflects our vision and delivers the best possible experience for our community.[/p][h3]
When will you share an exact date for launch?[/h3][p][/p][p]We have not finalized an exact date yet, but we are confident in our estimate of how long it will take to address the remaining areas of the game that need our attention. We expect to finalize and share the release date early next year.[/p][p][/p][h3]Anything else to share?[/h3][p][/p][p]As we’ve mentioned before, one of the most common pieces of feedback from the playtest was the request for a tutorial or clearer guidance on how to play SAND: Raiders of Sophie. To help with that, we’ve put together a short gameplay overview to give everyone a better understanding of what to do and how to play when you land back on Sophie early next year!
