Hey Everybody!

We’ve got something for you that is certainly a minor doozy. We are talking about a micropatch here!

This micropatch is focused on fixing some critical bugs from the 0.3.1 patch, and adding some quality of life updates while we are at it. So this patch isn’t really about adding a lot of new content and more about fixing a few bugs that slipped through the cracks.


Take a peek below for a closer look at exactly what we’re adding and fixing!

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug that prevented players from breaking the healing glorite nodes during the Dynus Boss Fight
- Fixed a bug that caused a casted fishing line to go across the screen in Multiplayer
- The Phantom Cape now only casts a second Air Skip
- The Well Fed buff no longer stacks
- The Sunite Axe’s animations are no longer invisible
- Fixed map bugs in various mines and the glorite mines
- Fixed the black border on multiple maps
- The Soul Orb Crops seed stage is now functional
- Fixed a bug that prevented players from catching the Rainbow Trout with a fishing rod
- The Dynus Altar flooring texture was updated
- Fixed floating fishing nets on the farm
- Fixed a bug that caused the Cerberus Mount to be replaced by another mount
- The Fortified spell can now be cast

General:
- Sun Haven now has a loading screen when you launch the game
- Enhanced the performance of Sun Haven when the game boots up
- Fish sell prices were nerfed
- Misc. Foragables and other items sell prices have also been balanced
- Dynus’s Cooking Altar now gives players a new reward along with the Phantom Plate Gloves


Content:
- All clothing item now show their sprites instead of the generic icons
- The Basic Fishing Rod now has an icon
- The platforms that appear during the Dynus Boss Fight now better match his lair

And that about covers it! This little update is sure to boost your gameplay experience as well as fix those nasty little bugs and defects that made it to the live environment. That’s as win-win as it gets!

As a side note, today was the first day of the season that felt chilly enough to have a cup of morning tea. With that and this patch in tandem, we’re looking at a cozy and happy autumn.

Patch 0.3 Update: Boss Fight & Fishing Update

Welcome back, folks!

Are y’all ready for a good old fashioned patch update? I sure hope so!

This is kind of a doozy of an update. Not only have we seriously revamped fishing in Sun Haven, but we’ve added the final boss fight! And there are plenty of other changes to go over too, so let’s get into it.

Let’s start with the final boss fight, since that’s easily the coolest thing since sliced anything. We’ve added more to the main quest line, including the final boss section in Withergate. You’ll find that there are multiple ways to overcome the final boss, so you may have a tough decision to make depending on the type of character you’re playing - will you seek victory in the throes of battle or use your skills to work toward a peaceful alternative?

I’m really excited for you all to play through this content, because it includes some really unique rewards - including a LOT of cool loot!

Important note: The main quest line is NOT finished and there is more content on its way! We decided to jump ahead to the final boss section of the main quest line because the additional content is technically optional/not mandatory. Stick with us though, because we’re still working on adding a significant midsection to the main quest line!

In addition to adding the final boss, we’ve entirely revamped fishing, expanded on our update to the mines, and added 10 new NPCs to Withergate!

You know what? Why don’t you just take a gander at the full list of changes here:

Main Questline Updates:
- Added quests to the Withergate main storyline up to Confronting Dynus (6/6)
- You can now meet Dynus the Moon Dragon beneath Withergate Castle
- Challenge him to a duel or appease him with offerings to gain his favor

Dynus Altars:
- Dynus Altar room is now functional
- 9 themed Altars to complete
-Complete Altars to receive exclusive rewards:
-New armor set, mount, crop and more!

Dynus Duel:

- Battle the Moon Dragon in an epic fight!
- Note: You can fight Dynus in Single Player and Multiplayer but the fight is currently only a single player experience. You cannot currently fight him as a group.
- Defeat him or appease him to receive exclusive rewards

Midnight Isle:
- A new Withergate based fishing map with increased fish quality and spawn rate

Glorite Mines:
- Added 5 new Glorite mines maps
- New rare ore: Glorite
- Can be used to craft the Glorite Tools and Glorite Furniture Set

Withergate Updates:
- New Withergate NPCs with walk paths and dialogue cycles
- Added Withergate Bulletin Board
- 20 quests now available!

Mines update (2/2):
- Sun Haven Mines visual update
- New themes every 10 floors
- New mines music to match the new themes

Fishing System Overhaul:

- New Fishing mini game
- Added 35 new fish (15 Sun Haven, 10 Nel’Vari, and 10 Withergate)
- Added fishing nets to automate catching fish on the Sun Haven Player Farm
- Added 7 New Fishing rods with unique perks
- Fish are now consumable
- Fish now have specific locations, split between: Sun Haven player farm, Sun Haven Town, Sun Haven Beach, the forest, the wilderness, Nel’Vari town, Nel’Vari forest, Withergate Town, Withergate forest, and the Sewer
- Removed Copper, Iron, Adamant, Mithril, and Sunite Fishing Rods

Skill Tree Updates:
- Added an entirely new Fishing skill tree with 21 new skill nodes
- Combat tree rework
- Attack Damage rework
- Nodes that allow players to gain extra money have been rebalanced
- More farming skill nodes coming next patch

Other Changes:
- Added 777 New Item Descriptions
- Buff icon trackers now visible above your toolbar
- New sound effects
- Chest Opening
- Fishing Line casting
- and More!
- New icons for a plethora of inventory items
- Crossbow damage balance
- Sword damage balancing
- Monster damage balancing
- Armor defense balancing
- Retuning Quest rewards to include Fishing EXP
- New hats, clothing, and accessories coming next patch

Bug Fixes:

- Attempted fix for crashing
- Attempted fix for inventory wipe in Multiplayer
- Attempted fix for a bug preventing Sun Haven from opening
- Attempted fix for numerous other bugs

Patch Notes for 0.2.2a (August 25th)

Patch notes for 0.2.2a

This minor patch is focused on improving some critical bugs from Multiplayer, as well as several other common general bugs.

Multiplayer:
- Improved stability of multiplayer
- Reduced disconnections in multiplayer
- Fixed the issue causing inventories to be wiped from disconnecting
- Removed automatic 10 second timeout from connecting and replaced with a button instead

General:
- Fixed pass out days on increments of day 28 starting past day 112
- Improved perfomance slightly, especially at the player farm
- Fixed some dialogue from NPC not giving keepsakes
- Fixed some crafting bugs causing a crafter to not work overnight
- Fixed quests taking armor off players or take different quality items
- Removed tiles being placed on beach
- Fixed some decorations sinking into ground on beach
- Cutscenes now dismount players (including hangouts)
- Fixed platforming to be more reliable
- Fixed dozens of small issues with clothings, decorations, and UI elements

Content:
- Added +1,+5,Max buttons to crafting tables.

Sun Haven map functionality:
- Romanceable NPCs are now visible on the Sun Haven map.
- The player also shows on the map. (single player only)
- Available quests and completable quests show on the map.

Dating/Marriage to NPCs:
- You can now gift NPCs a wedding ring to get married! This requires 15 hearts and getting far enough in the dialogue (you can only marry one NPC at a time).
- We’ve added a new wedding event to get married! The event center north of Sun Haven is now unlocked for this event (west from the train tracks).
- Dating now begins if you accept the NPC during the second date. However, Bernard now sells a love letter to begin dating an NPC if you’ve declined the second date or declined the NPC during the second date.
- NPCs now have proper dialogue reflecting your relationship. This includes 10 Dialogue Cycles before dating, 5 Dialogue Cycles while dating, 3 Dialogue Cycles while married, 5 Dialogue Cycles if dating is declined, and more one-liners added for each instance.
- Bernard now sells keepsakes for NPCs that you have 8 hearts with in case you miss it in their dialogue or lose it for any reason.
- You can now get up to 20 hearts with NPCs. It was previously capped at 10 before dating. Now it is capped at 15 before marriage.
- You can now talk to Bernard to get divorced after marriage.

Part 1 of 2 for mines update:
- Floors 26-50 have been added!
- Small rebalance to mining numbers: ore tiers are now in increments of 10 floors rather than 5.

More character customization:
- Naga race is now unlocked!
- We’ve added new character select customization options.
- We’ve added over 250 pieces of clothing (including color variations) into shops.
- Most clothing now comes in the following color variations: pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, and white.

Other Changes:
- Mac Build Support!!
- More Settings: Keybinds, Increase Day Length, Pause time during dialogue
- The tier 3 house upgrade is now available at the town hall! Now, you purchase the permit from Emmett at the Town Hall and craft the upgrade at your crafting table.
- Romanceable NPC Bust Emotes now allow you to see the NPCs’ emotions while you’re talking!
Fence Gates are now in!
- New wallpapers have been added to shops!
- Wallpapers can now be placed across individual walls as well as in the Withergate apartment.
- New farm songs and mine songs!
- Increased size of tier 2 house to fit large furniture items and rugs
- Multiplayer disconnection improvements
- Various Bug fixes

Coming Soon:
- Nelvari/Withergate map and quests
- Part 2 of the mines update, including more content in the mines (mines enemies, and chests/rewards every 10 floors).
