Survival Mode Preview Update Out Now

Hello commanders,

Are you ready for a new test of your tactics? Today we are releasing a new game mode for 9-Bit Armies: A Bit Too Far in the Survival Mode Preview.

In this mode you will have to face wave after wave of enemies on a unique map. Be sure to destroy each wave quickly to avoid being caught up in a stronger surge wave down the line.

Please note that this is a preview of the game mode as we are still working on expanding it including better balanced difficulties, more maps and co-op with the new mode.

The full version of this game mode will be coming out later as a free update to all players of 9-Bit Armies: A Bit Too Far.

Other improvements in this patch include updates to the harvesters AI, some bug fixes, improved visuals and audio.

Thank you for your support during early access, it is thanks to you that we are able to keep adding to the game. We hope you all enjoy the new game mode and other improvements and updates in this patch.

"Severed Gorge" update now LIVE

Commanders,

We have a new update for you today. In our ongoing efforts to make the game easier to pick up for a wider group of people we have added four new languages to the official translations. But, by far the biggest thing you will find in this update is a new official map perfect for small team games and 1v1s.

You will also find a host of other fixes, improvements and adjustments, some of which specifically target modders as we are improving the tools.

See you on the battlefield commanders!
New Features
• More Localization: Polish, Norwegian, Swedish, and Dutch.
 • Official Map: Severed Gorge (4p)
Mod Tools
• Fix for skirmish dialog not checking the allow one team mod setting when switching between selected maps.
 • Fix for the main menu mods dialog throwing away the known files for loaded mods when opening the dialog, resulting in the possibility of a custom map not being able to find files on the client.
 • Adding Lua functions to flash the game window.
 • Adding movement classes that can move in the spawn passability.
 • Modified spawn passability type and related logic such that spawn passability can now be painted together with movement passability without overwriting it.
