Major Patch - Hotfix is Live

Hi everyone!

We've just pushed out a hotfix addressing several issues that popped up after yesterday’s major patch. Thanks for your patience and quick feedback!

General Fixes & Improvements
  • Fixed 130 error crash issues.
  • Fixed wheel in diagnosis.
  • Fixed crash when building your car from scratch.
  • Fixed crash related to selling multiple items in a short time.
  • Crash fix related to quest 7.
  • Fixed bindings issues.
  • Fixed delivery teleport.
  • Fixed quest 7 and quest 7 screw logic, additional retest.
  • Fixed build invisible hinges.
  • Fixed missing code for nested wheel items.
  • Fixed minimap icon.
  • Fixed missing coil springs item data.
  • Fixed engine placement update in car statistics.
  • Removed flywheel before removing engine (text update).


Performance & UI
  • Increased frame rate cap, disabled smooth frame rate.
  • Further improved frame rate cap, disabled smooth frame rate in additional areas.
  • Set reflector lights dynamic emission to 1. Added safeguard for reverse lights turning on.
  • Updated Stop Lights Balance.


Inventory & Item Data
  • Fixed inventory not reloading whole equipment when selling parts.
  • Fixed prices for basic rims and matching wheel assets.
  • Fixed wheel prices from nested item summaries.
  • Fixed st02 frame price.
  • Updated and validated RollCage and hierarchy for various items (ST01, ST05, ST32).
  • Updated itemData, now working as intended.
  • Updated translations.


New & Updated Features
  • Implemented a new algorithm for procedurals.
  • Added ability to build your car from scratch.
  • Fixed invisible hinges during build.
  • Updated quest logic and final quests.
  • Removed primitive component in material assignment methods in favor of uMeshComponent.
  • ECU indicator bug fixed. Now deletes save when loading with bug.
  • Added/updated engine put/remove updates for car statistics.

[h3]⚠️ IMPORTANT!⚠️[/h3]
In this version, we've introduced extensive changes to improve stability, performance, enable modding, and add new vehicles. Unfortunately, this comes with compatibility issues for your old save files. You can still load them and will retain your prestige, money, progress, and cars - but these will be the new versions of the vehicles, not your exact same cars, as we've completely rebuilt the vehicle handling code from the ground up.

We recommend starting fresh, as playing on old saves may cause bugs and issues.
We apologize for the inconvenience - we hope you understand that this is an Early Access game, and based on your feedback, we've completely overhauled the entire vehicle system. This has also resulted in much improved driving mechanics and tuning options.

• Two V10 engines (ST3, ST5)
• Boxer-style H6 engine (ST10)

New Cars:
• ST01 – Hotch Reaper
• ST04 – Nissoku
• ST15 – Blackline N50

• Reworked backend system for cars and engines — now more modding-friendly.

Added new workstations:
• ECU hacking
• Battery charging
• Tire mounting & dismounting

• New rim and tire sizes with updated labeling system.
• Front-wheel drive added (vehicle ST04 – Nissoku)

AI & Racing
• New mission: acquiring a computer for ECU hacking
• Races against AI opponents added

Track Update:
• Total number of tracks: 29
• New AI-compatible tracks: 9

Map & Environment Major map overhaul:
• New district added: "Golden Sands District" "The Golden Sands District pulses with the hidden life of illegal races—its wide, three-lane boulevards of flawlessly laid asphalt transform into a track where engines roar, ignited by adrenaline."
• Terrain improvements outside the city

Engine Systems
• Engines now follow a more detailed hierarchy (left/right column separation)

Engine forced induction changes:
• Previously turbocharged: ST06, ST11
• Newly upgraded with Turbo or Supercharger: ST16, ST25, ST66 (depending on type)

Visual & Technical
• All vehicle and engine materials updated
• New item icon renders
• Physics now operate on revised skeletal setups
• Ongoing optimization pass

Stats
• Estimated ~1500 internal changes were made to implement these updates

Big Patch Coming – We Need Your Save Files!

Hey Underground Garage fans!

We’re excited to let you know that a major update is scheduled for release this April! As we finalize testing, we’re reaching out to ask for your help to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

To assist with bug fixing and quality assurance, we’d greatly appreciate it if you could share your save files, especially if you've encountered any issues with multiple cars appearing in the parking lot.

[h3]How to locate and send your save files:[/h3]
1. Open Windows File Explorer.
2. Type (or paste) the following into the address bar:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\UndergroundGarage\
3. Find the SAVED folder.
4. Compress the entire folder into a .zip or .rar archive.
5. Submit your ZIP/RAR file to us by creating a ticket in our #open-ticket channel on Discord or contacting us via LiveChat.
