Hey Everyone,

So after watching a ton of gameplay from you(the good, bad, and the ugly), I've been working hard at improving the game.

Here are the patch notes for the latest patch.

Updates:

• Added support for remapping WASD Movement.
  
• Improved visibility of the shopkeepers in Realle.
  
• Added direction signs towards vendors on appropriate floor tiles in Realle.
  
• Added text to explain fast travel in the worldmap menu.
  
  
  
  
• Added a short cooldown to the look direction of the player after shooting with slow-firing weapons. Now the player's look direction doesn't go back and forth anymore when walking backwards and shooting with slow fire rates.
  

Bugfixes:

• Fixed an issue where the grenade launcher's projectiles would disable when off-screen.
  
• Fixed an issue where the player could shoot when in dialogue.
  
• Fixed an issue where the dead animals could still collide with alive animals.
  
• Fixed an issue where animals who were retreating when they died, would do a sliding.

Updates:
* The in-game start time when starting a new game is now morning, so players don't have to start the game at nighttime.

Bugfixes:
* Fixed a couple of collision issues throughout the game.

This is such an amazing moment for me, INSPIRE is officially out!

4 years ago I started this journey, not knowing anything about game development, but here we are, April 12th and INSPIRE is out!

I hope you'll enjoy the game as much as I enjoyed creating it. I can't wait to hear your thoughts!

I thought I'd give you a small FAQ on release day based on questions I received in the past few weeks.

• Q: Does INSPIRE have controller support?
  A: INSPIRE does support Playstation and XBOX controllers, just not officially at launch. The reason is that there's an issue where the controllers don't work in the main menu scene. Once you're past the main menu scene you can play the game using the controller, where the UI will also show Playstation Icons.
  
  Full Controller Support will be added post-launch.
  
  
• Q: What languages can INSPIRED be played in?
  A: At launch there's only the English language. Post-launch I'll add localization for multiple languages.
  
  
• Q: Is there a soundtrack available for the game?
  A: Yes, the soundtrack can be listened to here: https://tinyurl.com/INSPIREALBUM
  
  
• Q: Are there any known issues?
  A: There's one known issue where the player character can become temporarily invisible for a tiny percentage of players. The player can still take damage and has all its functionality. Once the player leaves a level or dies, the issue resolves itself. If anyone encounters this, please send me a video so I can narrow it down even quicker.

Hey everyone,

I'm super excited to share a new playtest with you all today! It will also be the final playtest before the full release on April 12th!

In this playtest you'll get to play the very start of the game. You get to battle with the alien race the 'Sentians'. As seen in the artwork and the trailer, the Sentians invaded Earth and are planning to harvest the energy out of our lovely little planet.

With this playtest I'm aiming to get feedback on the overall state of the game and the gameplay. Also I'm looking for any strange behaviour or bugs you might find(which I hope there aren't (m) any)!

I hope you'll enjoy playing the playtest and it would mean a lot if you could fill out the INSPIRE Playtest Survey here after playing. This gives me a clearer picture of your ideas about the game so that I can make it as good as I possibly can!
