We are back to work! News and updates!
Hello, everyone
We are back from holiday, glad to be back.
Today I have 2 pieces of news to go over.
During our break we got a lot of bug reports, and we were feeling pretty ashamed to see so many problems. We’re sorry we left things so messy.
But instead of getting angry, you guys just reported and waited and for that we are grateful. For the last two days we’ve been doing some fumigating to try and get rid of those pesky bugs.
Also, we kept track of your conversations and could see some balancing problems, such as melee vs range characters. VIT is currently underpowered and DEX is overpowered, especially when combined with WIS. So, we decided to change some things.
If you are a DEX user you might not like it, but we want to see how it goes.
As many of you know, our plan after EA launch was to overhaul the magic system.
But we also wanted to bring you more contents in a short amount of time to prove ourselves. Because of this the magic Overhaul was pushed back and now we want to get back to it.
It will take longer than you might think, but during the overhaul process we will keep fixing bugs and updating balance issues.
The updates will be less fun for a while, but we want the magic system working fully, so please be patient.
I also want to let you know that when the magic system is updated, we will probably have to reset the characters.
This is because
A: our current system is not perfect and will need a lot of reworking for balance. And
B: It’s not balanced with magic together, and since many player characters have learned magic already it could break the balance and bug our new system,
[h3]In the future, any large updates could result in characters being reset, we hope you can be understanding and we’re sorry for the inconvenience,
but it will occasionally be necessary to make sure the game works as an ARPG. We will always warn you beforehand though.
