More Updates! Tutorial is fixed, Hard mode, Permadeath mode are now available!!
announcements.
It’s our 1 week anniversary! And we’ve been working hard this past week to bring you the latest update for Legendary Tales to celebrate. As is tradition of all Early access games.
And exactly what that update entails we will get to in a moment, but first some housekeeping;
About Regional Pricing
In regards to the regional pricing issue, we should be able to fix that in around 2 months’ time, so I hope you can bear with us on that.
About Modding:
It’s been brought up a lot and we don’t want you to feel we’re ignoring you so we do want to address it formally.
After discussing it with the team we voted unanimously not to offer any mod support for now.
The main reason being that tailoring our game to offer mod support would set us back by at least 3 months
And we would rather spend that time working on content that will make Legendary Tales the best it can be.
To be clear, we are not against/we don’t hate modding, we are fans of it, we would just rather work on our game right now.
This is also not a never, we would like to offer mod support one day, perhaps for the games final release, when we’ve added everything that we want.
We hope that every update to Legendary Tales can entice more and more players!
About New Monster
And now onto what is in store for the future. You may have seen on discord, one of our dev give a little preview of a new enemy she’s been working on (Though that will still take some time)
and we are also working on cosmetic changes to the player character through equipped items. Currently we are working on changing out the helmets, so we hope you’ll have fun with that when it comes out.
Outside of that you can always check the roadmap to see what’s in the works.

About today’s updates!
Tutorials
First off, we received a lot of feedback regarding the double tutorial and so we have given the players the option of which tutorial they choose when starting up the game for the first time.
You can choose to go through the in-depth tutorial, covering all the basics and advanced aspects of the game, or go through the more freeform Abbey if you’ve played before. You no longer have to do both.
We hope that anyone who was hesitant about picking up the game because of the tutorial will feel a bit better about trying it out now.
Despite this, we still highly recommend that new players go through the in-depth tutorial rather than the Abbey.
Legendary Tales has a lot of depth to its mechanics that do make the game more enjoyable if you understand them.
However, if you don’t, the full tutorial will always be there for you to pour over at a later date.
New Features
We have also added
a hard mode.

a permadeath mode.
We have tested it out ourselves and had no problems so far, but since this is a new feature there is still the possibility of bugs so your feedback will be of the greatest importance to us.
Also Max level is unlocked from 50 to 100
Please read all detail patch below.
That’s all for now, next week is Chuseok, an important family holiday in Korea, so we will be much less responsive during the whole week. We don’t get much time off, so after a hectic year we really need this break but if there’s an emergency just send out the wolf signal in the sky… Or message on discord. Have a great week!
We could push this, because of all your lovely supports. I promise you, we will not abandon this project but make it better. I love you all!!
Cheers!
Patch note:
1. Tutorials: Two tutorials (Full and Compact) are divided now.
Full tutorial has skip feature. You can skip full tutorial after learning first basic control of game if you want. But then you must play compact tutorial.
But if you played full tutorials, you don’t need to do compact tutorial.
