Hello, Legendary Tales Fans

Already It has been a month since Legendary Tales Official release.
I feel time flies really fast. After release there were many bugs and suggestions from gamers and we were super busy, But it seems like we have done very well done. I mean after this patch list, bug list, we see things are calming down. I believe we could have done all this really fast and accurately. I appreciate all of you.



Also, I want to share the news that Legendary Tales is now officially announced #1 selling game on PSVR2 in launch month (March-2024). I was worrying about price tag before the launch but guess it was not necessary to worry, based on what we see, market accepted price tag and I hope it worth the price for you. Anyway I really appreciate all of VR game fans. We all made this together.
You are a one of us, who made this great history.

At same time, I still believe there are people who want to play our game, but hesitating to buy Legendary Tales because of Language barriers. So, we currently are focusing on Language support first. I hope we can deliver all Languages at same time for people from all of the world. Hang on tight!
And I wish more language support helps our Legendary Tales fans too.

There is a small news, me(BJ) and one of dev, will visit GDC 2024, Mon to Fri whole week. We want to see the world, how gaming industry is spinning around. We want to expand our eye-sight by seeing things. But at same time there is nothing to do much in GDC for us since we are just visiting. So, if anyone who visit GDC as a gamer, Dev, let me know. Maybe we can have fun time :D

  • We have changed HTC Vive Right Controller Inputs based on user feedback
  • Dash – Trackpad : Up, Press Quickly

[h3]Added/Changed features based on Feedbacks[/h3]
  • Collision size of water pail in the town is reduced.
  • Ingot respawn place have been changed more close to player.
  • Some of VFX brightness have been reduced.



[h3]Game Balance[/h3]
  • Close Parrying Skill : Time limit changed 0.3 sec -> 0.7 sec
  • We found Close Parrying Skill Condition explanation was not clear, So we have been changed to :
  • Parry within 0.7 Sec of Taking Damage.
  • (Note: Also, we have found that text health recovery explanation is not clear, This will be patched next time with rework the this skill. Currently it works this way : you recover HP based on damage you are taken. You get 100 Damage and Close parry will recover Max-out 75 HP based on your Vit)



[h3]Bug Fix[/h3]
  • During the multiplay, Client player could duplicate items via Sort system – Fixed
  • Put Item directly into Decomposer feature is now entirely removed. Player now only can put items via UI.
  • (Note : We found people throw items around in the town and see Items disappearing suddenly and never know why. Especially it happened with Legendary Axe : Iron Slicer many times.)
  • Frigid blast increased elemental Resists, It was entirely our fault bugged – Fixed
  • Holding Goblin Servant by hand made Goblin Servant floating in the air – Fixed
  • Goblin Shaman didn’t stay own place when player attack Goblin Shaman from out-side and Goblin Shaman never return to the place – Fixed
  • Player could get into Cursed totem – Fixed

Hello, Legendary Tales fans.
Third patch Is now available. (Already pushed)
From the 1.0 update, we have been working to solve problems our fans have ASAP for the clean game experience for our fans.

As always, we have brought some features that our fans asked. Such as Inventory organize, enemy HP UI on/off feature for better immersion, added “!” mark to own Graveyard only to find it easy and more. I really appreciate all your feedback and as always, we are happy to help you, our fans and gamers.

**Since last update, many of Steam users have written reviews, some of them changed their opinions. Because people changed, updated their opinions on Steam review, now new users can have up-to-date information about the game, and it actually helped our sales a bit! I guess they read your reviews, I believe I meant something. I really appreciate your help.
We are still mostly positive on Steam, I know we can’t make everyone happy, but if you are satisfied, please concern to write review on Steam to help us. **

Also, Let me remind you, There is Legendary Tales OST is published on Steam. Some people ask me how to support Legendary Tales project and us. Buying OST is easiest way to do it.
(And we don’t need to pay 5% of royalties to Unreal Engine for OST sales!)

Following the last announcement, we are currently working on Localization for many different languages. Thanks for great community! Many of people working on it voluntarily and they never stop it, if you look at Japanese channel, they are working on it as a great team and making Legendary Translation I believe.
As a result, we could support these languages in the future: English, Korean, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Czech.
(It is not final list, depends on how it goes, can be vary at the end)
Based on what I see. some of them are just translator level of Localization, but still, I think it means a lot for some our fans in the world.

To support new languages, we need to focus on texts, it needs a lot of time and when it is finished, it needs Full QA again to support new languages on PSVR2. It means we can’t push any update until we finish Localization.
So, we can’t push any update anytime soon even there is serious problem anyone find during this period.

Beat up A - Melee Weapon Condition - Added

Bulk up - Lv 1,2 give absolute HP bonus now.
Bulk up – After LV 3, Player gets HP bonus Per Vit
Stone skin – Lv1 give bonus Physical resist.

Plasma coil will be destroyed if there is not enough speed
Final boss room being reset although not all players died – Fixed
(It was hard to addressed for us because it seems it happens because of Network ping delay. I wish we have fixed but if it happens again, Let us know)
Mimic sometimes stop attacking after first attack – Fixed
Icicle launcher doesn’t deal damage from client – Fixed
Some times, Some of Legendary skills didn’t work in certain situation – Fixed
Quest doesn’t update when player kills Tormented Gladiator from far away- Fixed
Other players could have eaten Meat from your holster – Fixed

Hello, Legendary Tales fans.
Second patch is now available. (Already pushed)
I see many of gamers are playing, enjoying Legendary Tales and they love it since the launch!
We, our team, worked hard this time again, to make best form of Legendary Tales to give you best experiences.

I am happy to say, this update includes Hybrid-grip method for PSVR2 users, seated mode for many of chair, couch players, sitting button for who has back pain. On top of that, there are many new players who feel they have made mistake for secondary and skill tree. We brought limited character reset, each character will have one chance to reset secondary attributes and skill tree. It’s only once. We are happy to help players who made mistake. I wish you learned something from your first mistake and don’t make same mistake again. Think enough before you invest points, use it wisely.

Also, sometimes Random encounters are brutal for some people. I think that is part of fun of ARPG. But still limiting potion accessibility is not what we want and feel dried. So now you can exchange Mana chunk into Blood chunk, vice versa by throw them into caldron. Now both of objects can be useful for anyone!

I do believe that Devs exists to help players to have fun with the game and change frustrations into motivation. That is what I want to do with patch, updates. I hope this patch/update help you to enjoy the game.

[h3]I have a favor to ask Steam gamers, at this point, I think we have fix/changed most of problems people have been addressing, such as hold-grip and achievements, etc… If you feel better now than before, can I kindly ask to update your reviews? I am not asking you to change it to positive. I mean it would be great but not necessary for us. But at least I want people to have right information to decide to buy game or not. Negative reviews with outdated information are not helping game at all. In-fact it is hurting Legendary Tales more than you ever can think. As I said before, we make game together I believe, we can’t do this alone without your support. So, Please… would you help us?[/h3]

One last thing, I want to let you know that we are currently working on more localization. French is already work in progress, Thanks to one of our community user @Pommespanzer. Pommeepanzer is doing it voluntarily. Additionally, we are going to support Spanish, Polish as well with translator, but if anyone in the community who want to fix, change wrong translator texts for better translation, let me know, I will open the docs for you and let you fix, change it. Also, we are looking for German and Japanese as well who can help us to make it better translation for better translation.
We are targeting (means not guaranteed) to bring all language support on next patch or another next patch after that. And Female character armor and helm update is also coming together with all languages support. Let’s hope everything goes smoothly.
I believe this is great part of Indie development, users, and us, can make the game better and better. It’s not just Pommeepanzer, I am really happy that all users are working together to help each other in any community I see. I feel we are all connected as a gamer with our game, Legendary Tales.

Secondar, Skill tree reset feature (You get one chance per character after you finish normal game) – Added

Hello, our fans.
Our first patch is now available.
After our holiday, we started to work again on this Wednesday.
We only had 3 days to fix and add every feedbacks we got after 1.0 launch.

It was not enough time but we ground ourself to bring it to you, people who enjoy our game, want to enjoy our game but can't, and/or hesitate to buy our game,
I am happy to say, this update includes hold-grip method that many people waited. Especially, Index players, I really want to say sorry for you that you couldn't play our game properly last few days.
But now you can enjoy the game!
Also we have fixed WMR controllers as well (But need test, give us feedback if you have problem)
+ many bug fixes and features suggestion from our community.
