We are going to have one of big national holyday in korea which is called (Seol-Nal, First day of Lunar Calendar)

**Bug fixes**

1. Player can't grab items after using portal while holding crate -> Fixed
2. [RoomQuest] No longer other players can help friend with Ice Spike during [The Great Martial Arts Tournament]
3. Sometimes Player can't grab own graveyard after auto released by distance -> Fixed
4. Portal magic shows wrong mana cost in magic wheels -> Fixed
5. [Butcher's cleaver] Item option was bugged -> Fixed
6. [Arena] Enemies level was too low by bug -> Fixed
7. [Achievement] Scourge of Demon had problem -> Fixed
8. Some of Item options typo -> Fixed

**Balance**

1. [Altair] Legendary Skill [Eagle talon] Shield return speed is reduced to make easier to catch again.
2. [Gaian's armor] Item option [+% Punch damage] is changed to [Attacker take damage]

About Fundamental of Legendary Tales future plan (With Update)


Hello everyone,
It has been one month since we pushed our Skill Tree and Magic winter update.

In the last month, we’ve seen that fans are very happy with the update and like the direction we’re heading. It feels wonderful to have this kind of back and forth with all of you.
I’ve also been watching the community in that time and looking at what people expect from a VR RPG game. It seems that everyone wants something really big. at first I was apprehensive about increasing the scope of our project any further, but I remembered that we managed to introduce a whole skill tree in just a few months, even though it hadn’t been a part of our plan originally, thanks to feedback from all of you.

Over this past month the entire team has been working really hard. But, as you know, Indie Devs can be easily burned out. I don’t want that so I’ve been encouraging them to slow down a bit as we work on updating our project engine version from UE4.26 to UE4.27. This has come with a lot of its own issues of course, but we can handle it.

Lately we’ve been looking at ways to streamline our character and monster creation process and we’ve found some ways to lower the work load so we can bring more enemy’s to you. I’d like to keep researching that and also look at ways of streamlining other production processes too.
After that I plan to evaluate our resources to see how much further we can push the scale of Legendary Tales, we can’t promise the moon but we will work hard to bring it a little closer to earth. We are going to spend the next few months planning and testing ways to grow our game and work more efficiently. (and also- make more monsters) Rest assured we‘ll be looking at community feedback all along the way.

Because more regular updates mean development is slower we will be holding off on big updates for a while, but we will continue to do bug patch’s and some small content updates as usual, We’ll just be more focused on research and development for a while. (Probably two ~ three months)

It will be merged to Default branch from this updates.[/h2]

Since there are too much differences, we couldn't make it support save file.

[h2]New Legendary Item : [/h2]
Wand : [Butterfly dream] It has Legendary Skill [False awakening]


[h2]New 9 Skills : [/h2]



Finishing strike(STR) : After hitting an enemy with a normal combat skill, the damage for the next light attack is increased.


Razor sharp blade(DEX) : Chance of a critical hit is increased for light attacks.


Lucky Day(SUB) : When you kill an enemy there will be a chance of them dropping an additional item. The likelihood of extra drops increases with your LUK stat.


Natural immunity(SUB) : Recover some HP once every 3 seconds


Mana manipulation(SUB) : Recover MP by a small amount every 3 seconds. The amount recovered increases with your INT.


Superhuman reflexes(Gallant) : Block a ranged attack using a melee weapon, other than your shield, and damage will be increased for a short period of time.


Final stand(Gutsy) : Deal greater damage when your health is below a certain percentage.


Sliced(Sly) : Deal greater damage to stunned or knocked down enemies when using a DEX melee weapon


Broad shoulders(Loner) : Deal more damage when throwing DEX melee weapons. The amount of damage increases with your DEX.

New : Item lock system in inventory.
Player no longer sells their Legendary Items by accidently(?) press sell all.

Game setting : Now Player can change resolution up-to 1.6 scale in Game settings.

UI : Enemy’s HP bar UI size is slightly increased.




Balance changes :

We found Bow is slightly more powerful than other weapon therefore, we decided to reduce some specs of bows.

Magic option [Damage Increase (Value)%] Value for bow is reduced.

[Forest keeper] No longer get [Damage Increase %] Bonus option anymore,
[Forest keeper] now get [Physical damage from ranged attacks is reduced] instead.

[Heavy rain] No longer get [Minimum physical damage] Bonus option anymore,
[Heavy rain] now get [Damage increase to knocked down enemies] instead.
[Heavy rain] Bonus option [+(Value) Maximum physical damage] Value is reduced.

[Butcher's cleaver] Bonus option [Damage Increase (Value) %] Value is reduced.

Skill [Warmonger] No longer gives damage bonus based on STR. Instead it gives bonus damage with specific percentage. Start with 20%

Higher rating items drop chance is increased. (From Rare ~ Legendary)

New 6 Skills :





Pillar of Fire : Cast the this on an enemy and a pillar of fire will envelop them dealing damage.


Burning Dead : Increase the Pillar of Fire damage on burned enemies.

Ice nova : A wave of chilling frost is released from the player, dealing damage and inflicting frostbite to enemies caught in the wave.


Arctic expansion : When you kill a frozen enemy a blast of cold air spreads to nearby enemies, dealing ice magic damage.

Cumulonimbus : Summons up to 2 clouds that will hover near the player. Whenever the player hits an enemy with a lightning attack the cloud will fire a non piercing, lightning bolt at a nearby enemy. The cloud has a limited number of hits before disapearing.


Great typhoon : The Cumulonimbus will now have a certain chance of causing shock to enemies.

1. Player always gets STR experience when player attacks Health Chained champions -> Fixed
2. [Gaian's armor] Legendary Skill [Gaian’s fist] does different calculation when its multiplay -> Fixed
3. [Gaian's armor] Legendary Skill [Gaian’s fist] doesn't work when player enters multiplay while it's equipped -> Fixed

Here is first Patch in 2022.

General :

1. Now player can cast same magic without selecting magic again. It will open new era of magician.

Hot-Fix :

1. [Butcher's cleaver] Legendary Skill [Mincing meat] mana cost 1 bug -> Fixed
2. Player tomb sometimes spawned in wrong position during climbing -> Fixed
3. [Multiplay] Client could buy MP potion although MP bottle in inventory is full -> Fixed
4. [Ice Arrow], [Lightning Arrow] deal more damage than what it says -> Fixed

Balance :

1. [Butcher's cleaver] Legendary Skill [Mincing meat] collision damage is decreased : 300% -> 200%
2. [Butcher's cleaver] Legendary Skill [Mincing meat] mana cost is increased : 25 -> 30
3. [Forest keeper] Legendary Skill [Multishot] Damage is increased : 50% -> 100%
