Bugfix Update #22 - New Water Reservoirs, Moods Balance, Fixed Looped Animations

We are finally finishing the bugfixing period after the recent Major Update 4 - Part 2. Of course, we keep on tracking all the reports coming from you to react in case of sudden need. But otherwise, we are happy to be finally working on the new content for you. Expect more info about this soon!

IMPROVEMENTS:
  • New water reservoirs have been added. Previously, we only had the major rivers, lakes, seas, and oceans. We have added some additional streams, canals, drains, and ditches on the maps.
  • The AI of the attackers has been improved to make them prioritize structures with workers inside over structures without them.
  • The First Defense mission has been updated. If the player builds the tower before the mission starts, the mission won't occur.
  • The HP bar has been added to the building customization panel.
  • Scrollbar visibility has been improved and unified across the whole game.
BALANCE:

Moods and the buildings related to the "higher needs" have been rebalanced:

  • Maximum Moods bonus for worker efficiency has been increased from +40% to +60%.
  • The highest mood penalty for not fulfilling a higher need has been reduced from -20% to -10%.
  • The maximum positive mood modifier from houses has been decreased from +25% to +20%.
  • The bar's brew production has been increased from 8 brews per cycle to 12 brews per cycle.
  • Thresholds for the moments when higher needs appear have been adjusted to work in line with the rest of the changes.
FIXES:
  • Fixed an issue where the death animation of the infected was displayed in a loop.
  • Fixed an issue with the swarms arriving at the Zone at sunrise. Swarms will wait in such a scenario to attack the Zone the next night.
  • Fixed an issue with the swarms sometimes arriving late due to being spawned in places obstructed by the terrain elevation.
  • Fixed an issue where the player's FPS was affecting the attack speed of defensive structures.
  • Fixed an issue where different time speeds were affecting the attack speed of defensive structures.
  • Fixed some issues with the cursor and the UI, which could've caused errors with placing walls and building custom buildings, among others.
  • Fixed an issue with the APC and Military Storyline causing errors.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused not all the Squad Members to go into the buildings infested with enemies.
  • Fixed an issue with Squad Members sometimes stopping to attack the enemies in the buildings, especially if the initial order of attack has been changed to movement inside the building.
  • Fixed fog of war and some cases where the fog wasn't properly covering the whole gameplay area.
  • Fixed an issue that caused looped warning messages to appear in the console.
  • Fixed an issue with raiders not stopping to shoot with ranged weapons and preferring to fight in the melee range.
  • Fixed an issue with stuck empty transmissions when immigrants they were related to were killed in the meantime.
  • Fixed an issue with the memory leak occurring when going back to the main menu and loading a save.
  • Fixed an issue with the Italy biome displaying incorrect citizen data.
  • Fixed an issue with Walls sometimes being shorter than intended after placing them.
  • Fixed an issue that occurred when the forester tried to plant tropical trees.
  • Fixed an issue with some panels displaying unnecessary fractional values.
  • Fixed an issue where duplicated repairmen works prevented the players from loading up a save.
  • Fixed an issue that occurred when playing without the internet.
  • Fixed an issue with some irregular buildings having emblems hanging in the air.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed two squads to enter one vehicle.
  • Fixed an issue with incorrect biome files causing errors.
  • Fixed an issue with tropical trees sometimes displaying white color at some camera angles.
  • Fixed an issue with some buildings having no path to them. We keep observing this issue to ensure it's completely removed.
  • Fixed an issue where the workers weren't transporting meat from the Fisherman's Hut.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused errors when saving or loading a save with missing serialized objects.
  • Fixed an issue with icons displaying incorrectly on high buildings.
  • Fixed an issue with missing structure blueprints when placing walls and towers with disabled outlines.
  • Fixed an issue with the military storyline not progressing when picking some specific dialogue options.
  • Fixed an issue with hordes sometimes refusing to attack the walls and standing next to them.
