Other City Builders in progress from Games Operators!
Greetings, Survivors!
As Games Operators, we are well-known for our emergency management simulation games. It might be surprising to some players, but right now we are having not one, but three games from the city-builder genre in the works!

Infection Free Zone is one of those games, but we have two more in development that also promises to be great! King of the Dwarves (Tag of Joy Studio) is our recently announced underground city builder, which allows us to mine in every direction! City of Atlantis (Gambit Games Studio and Mean Astronauts Studio), on the other hand, is a beautifully crafted city builder where you raise your amazing creations on top of the water.

We highly recommend checking them both!
King of the Dwarves
Build an epic kingdom inside a mountain and become the King of the Dwarves in this underground city builder!

Allocate resources and units with easy-to-use but tough-to-master sliders and see your kingdom grow. Have your folk dig inside a mountain, discover various resources like iron and gold, build forges and research rooms, train warriors, smiths and engineers, forge weapons, defend against invading enemies and protect your people from natural disasters – all in a vast 3D world!
City of Atlantis
City of Atlantis is an isometric city-building survival game set in the world of the mythical Land of Atlantis. According to legend, the city far surpassed other nations in terms of scientific, military, and economic advancement. One day, however, it vanished from the face of the Earth. Now, after centuries, it re-emerges from the ocean depths.

Behind the scenes - Demolition of Buildings
Greetings, Survivors!
Welcome to the "Behind the scenes" post series, where we share with you some bits of the game that we are currently working on! We want to start with something interesting, so the first topic that we want to cover is the demolition of buildings. Hopefully, it's going to blow your mind!
Demolition of Buildings
Let's see how It looks at the moment:

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
Purpose
Most of the buildings that we are going to control are buildings re-adapted to our needs. So even though we consider Infection Free Zone a game that falls under the category of city builders, the overall approach is a little bit different. We don't have to run a quarry and take the time to mine resources and transport them all the way to our zone. All of it just to have a chance of building something. In most cases, we will take over the abandoned buildings in our vicinity.

But sometimes we might want to make some additional space for farms, defensive walls and towers, or simply to obtain the resources out of the buildings, as their initial purpose isn't going to be as valuable to us. So the main aim for the demolition is a rearrangement of our zone and the resource gathering.
Resources
Obtainable resources after the demolition include:
 • Bricks,
 • Raw metal,
 • Wood (small amounts).

All of them can be used for different things, but it's important to remember, that with those you can build new defensive structures, and in rare cases - new buildings (maybe in places that are more favorable for you). Resources are also going to be required to repair structures and some vehicles and they might serve as a currency for trade with other Zones.
Requirements
So what are the requirements for the demolition of buildings? First of all, we need available workers. Then we have to provide them with the explosives. Afterward, depending on the size of the building, the time required to fully demolish the building and loot all of the resources left behind, might vary. Of course, a lot of other things might improve our effectiveness during the process, but for now, it's still a work in progress!

What do you think about this feature? We hope that you are as excited as we are! Let us know what you think in the comments and we will come back to you with another post from the "Behind the scenes" series soon!

P.S. The Community Challenge is still running! If you want to help us make the game bigger, join us and follow the game on Steam!

Community Challenge: Help the game grow!
Greetings, Survivors!
We have seen you asking about the stretch goals from Kickstarter and wondering if they're gone forever. In the end, the Kickstarter campaign, although successful, didn't manage to reach any of them. We have talked about it internally and wondered what we can do about it to make this situation a little bit better for everyone. That's why we came up with the idea of running a community challenge!
Community Challenge
Rules are simple. Stretch goals are coming back into play but this time it's not about buying pledges, but following Infection Free Zone on Steam! Currently, Infection Free Zone has 1,931 members in its group. You can easily verify it by going to THIS address. Our goal for this community challenge will be to raise this number as high as possible!

The stretch goals' rewards stay the same as they were before but now we are counting the number of followers. The first challenge is reaching 5000 followers on Steam in exchange for the "Expeditions" stretch goal from the Kickstarter campaign. When we reach it, we will announce the next one!
Summary
• To join the challenge, go to the Infection Free Zone's Steam Page and click on the buttons: Add to your wishlist and Follow. The follower count is publicly visible, so for the purpose of this competition, we will track this number.
 • To increase everyone's chances of reaching the highest stretch goal possible, share this challenge with your friends!
 • After Infection Free Zone reaches 5000 followers the Expeditions stretch goal gets included in the base game and we announce the next challenge!

Good luck, Survivors!

End of the Kickstarter campaign! Big thank you from the team!
Greetings, Survivors!
The Kickstarter campaign is over. We are fully funded and extremely happy to have so many of you on board with us. The real journey only begins, as you are still yet to see the outcome of our hard work. We haven't managed to reach the 25 000 € stretch goal, but we are so, so thankful for all of you who have tried to help us with it. We have seen you increasing the pledges on the Kickstarter, motivating us on Discord, letting us know that you were trying to talk with influencers about the "Sponsor" reward. That's absolutely incredible and we are honored to have a community like this!
Next steps
As you probably know by now, we want to launch a very early beta build towards the end of Q1 in 2022. It means that all the backers who have chosen a Scavenger pledge tier or higher will receive access to it in around 5 months. It might seem like a lot of time, but we will do our best to show you something new from the game at least once a month until then! :)
Feedback
All feedback is valuable to us! Remember that we are always happy to read about your thoughts regarding Infection Free Zone. If you have a certain opinion about the trailer itself, wonder what will be available or not in the game - let us know about it! In here, in the Steam Discussions, on Discord. We are making this game for you and we want to be sure that you are happy with it! The same goes for the suggestions - as it is still very early in the development cycle, there is a higher chance that some of your ideas may end up implemented in the game.

Thank you once again and see you soon!

Help us reach the Expeditions stretch goal!
Greetings, Survivors!
There are less than 48 hours left before our Kickstarter campaign is over! Help us with making that one last push in order to reach the Expeditions stretch goal!
Expeditions
What we can tell about the expeditions so far:
 • They would allow you to travel through adjacent zones of your chosen city, out of your zone construction area.
 • As you never know what will happen during an expedition, you should always provide your expedition team with the best gear possible.
 • The outcome of an expedition varies heavily! You might end up finding a bunch of resources, a special event, a new weapon or vehicle, having an encounter with a new ally... Or a new enemy.
 • It's a 25 000€ stretch goal. We only need 3700€ more!
Visualization
This is the early visualization of the expedition screen. It would allow you for an easy movement through the adjacent zones to discover new events, settlements, vehicles, weapons, and resources. What do you think about this concept?
