Beyond Enemy Lines – Vietnam | Early Access Details & Pricing Survey
The release is getting closer and we’re preparing for Early Access.

What will be available at launch?
[p]Early Access will start with:[/p]
  • [p]4 out of 8 campaign missions[/p]
  • [p]1 Operation (sandbox-style mission)[/p]
[p]During Early Access, we will continue expanding the game. New singleplayer missions will be added, while co-op is introduced step by step in parallel. After that, PvP and user-generated content (mission editor) will be rolled out.[/p][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p]
What kind of game is this?
[p]Beyond Enemy Lines - Vietnam is not a modern live-service shooter.[/p][p]It’s a combat sandbox built with modern tech, but inspired by classic design from ~20 years ago.[/p][p]Our focus is on:[/p]
  • [p]player freedom[/p]
  • [p]experimentation[/p]
  • [p]replayable combat scenarios[/p]
[p]Without systems that try to control how or when you play.[/p][p]That means:[/p]
  • [p]no battle pass[/p]
  • [p]no FOMO mechanics[/p]
  • [p]no artificial grind[/p]
  • [p]no pressure to keep logging in[/p]
[p]We want to build a game you can come back to anytime and just play.[/p][p][/p]
Design approach
[p]The campaign is more structured than in previous titles.[/p][p]Instead of dropping you into a fully open area with all objectives visible, missions guide you through a broader path that opens up into larger combat spaces.[/p][p]This creates a better flow while still leaving enough freedom to approach situations differently.[/p][p]For full sandbox gameplay, Operations remove that structure entirely.[/p][p][/p]
Gameplay & Systems
• [p]Checkpoints during missions[/p][p]→Previous titles had no mid-mission saves at all - now we’ve added a checkpoint system to make missions more accessible without losing tension.[/p]
  • [p]Unified progression across all modes
→ singleplayer, multiplayer and user-generated content unlock the same gear[/p]
  • [p]Classic multiplayer structure
    → server browser
    → dedicated servers + peer-to-peer hosting
    → no matchmaking[/p]
  • [p]No dependency on our servers
→ the game remains playable even without backend services[/p]
[p][/p]
Anti-Cheat
[p]We use a layered system:[/p]
  • [p]Easy Anti-Cheat[/p]
  • [p]Server admins (kick / ban)[/p]
  • [p]Vote kick + reporting[/p]
  • [p]Backend analysis of player behavior[/p]

Beyond Enemy Lines – Vietnam | Development Update & Early Access Plans

[p]Hello everyone,[/p][p]release is getting closer and we want to share an update on our launch plans.[/p][p][/p][p]Beyond Enemy Lines – Vietnam will launch in April as a Steam Early Access title.
Console versions will follow later.[/p][p]During certification discussions with console platforms, our in-game mission editor was not accepted in its current form and requires deeper structural changes to meet platform requirements.[/p][p]The time needed for these changes was originally planned for final cross-platform polishing, which we do not want to cut or compromise.[/p][p]As a result, we have adjusted the plan and reduced the initial release scope to a PC Early Access launch first.[/p][p][/p][p]Early Access will launch with 4 of the 8 campaign missions.
The remaining missions, additional multiplayer features, and full user-generated content support will be added step by step during Early Access.[/p][p][/p][p]Full voice recording is now complete and integration into the game has started.
Below is a short preview with the final in-game voices.[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]We’ll share regular updates as we move toward full release.

Release Date Announcement

[p]After many years of passionate development, we’re excited to finally share an updated release window for Beyond Enemy Lines – Vietnam. While the game was originally planned for late 2025, we’ve decided to take a bit more time to fully polish the experience and thoughtfully integrate the valuable feedback we received from the demo.
[/p]
Beyond Enemy Lines - Vietnam is now targeting an April 2026 release.
[p][/p][p][/p][p]The game is fully playable from start to finish, featuring:[/p]
  • [p]An 8-mission story campaign[/p]
  • [p]A full cooperative mode, supporting the entire campaign[/p]
  • [p]A complete PvP multiplayer suite[/p]
  • [p]The in-game Mission & Campaign Editor, allowing players to build and share singleplayer, co-op, and PvP missions directly inside the game[/p]
[p]In January, we begin recording the voice-over for the project - over 65 pages of dialogue, the largest script we’ve ever produced.
For perspective: Beyond Enemy Lines 1 and Beyond Enemy Lines 2 combined, including all DLC missions, never reached 40 pages.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]This reflects how much deeper, more cinematic, and more ambitious Beyond Enemy Lines - Vietnam has become.[/p][p]With the April 2026 release, we will be closing out a development cycle that spans 6 years - the longest and most technologically advanced project in our studio’s history.
Hand-crafted levels, a brand-new engine foundation, expanded mechanics, and a scale far beyond previous entries define this milestone for us.[/p][p]As 2025 comes to an end, we want to thank all of you for your continued support, patience, and enthusiasm. Your feedback and passion have carried this project through every stage of development.[/p][p][/p][p]🎮 Wishlist now and share your feedback!

Update v0.1.5 – COOP!

[p][/p][p]Soldiers,[/p][p]Update 0.1.5 for the Beyond Enemy Lines – Vietnam demo is here, and this one’s a big step forward — Co-op Mode has arrived![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]You can now experience the campaign mission “Gridlock” together with a friend. Alongside this major addition, we’ve improved performance, overhauled AI behaviour once again, fixed several bugs, refined multiple UI elements, and upgraded the rendering backend to FSR 4 for better visuals and smoother framerates.[/p]

Co-op Test
[p]This is our first public Co-op test.
We’re opening it early because the single-player demo provided us with incredibly valuable feedback — and we want to continue that process together with you.[/p][p]Please keep in mind that this version is still experimental. Co-op will continue to evolve as we expand testing and gather your input.[/p]

Known Issues & Limitations
• [p]Peer-to-Peer Only (for now):
Dedicated servers are not yet available for the demo. This version runs entirely on peer-to-peer connections, which may cause higher latency and occasional lag. Dedicated server testing will follow soon.[/p]
  • [p]Ping Display:
Since we’re using the Epic Online Subsystem, peer-to-peer sessions currently show a 0 ms ping in the server browser. This is a known limitation and does not represent the real connection quality. We recommend testing Co-op with friends for now.[/p]
  • [p]Host Cursor Bug:
There’s a known issue where the host’s mouse cursor may disappear after a short time in the lobby. You can still use the keyboard or controller to navigate as a workaround.[/p]

Other Improvements
• [p]Improved overall performance and frame stability[/p]
  • [p]Enhanced AI responsiveness and positioning[/p]
  • [p]Fixed multiple minor bugs and glitches[/p]
  • [p]Polished UI elements and menu flow[/p]
  • [p]Upgraded to AMD FSR 4 for higher image quality and better performance across all hardware [/p]

📸 Share Your Moments!
[p]Don’t forget to try the Photo Mode and share your best in-game shots! We’d love to see your favorite moments on social media or in the Steam Community hub.
[/p][p][/p][p]
Please continue to share your experiences — your feedback is critical as we refine the game.
