Happy Holidays!

Greetings everyone!

First of all: Don't forget to sign up for the playtest in January. We already have lots of people who signed up, but the more the better. And with that reminder, we would like to close the year in terms of communication. We won't stop working on the game (well, maybe on Christmas and New Year, but that's it). And we'd like to wish you happy holidays. Take care. See you next year.

Register for the Playtest

Greetings Builders!

We've got some good news: We just opened up the registration here on steam for a public playtest. We have not yet defined the exact date yet but in January we'll hold a one week playtest for Highrise City. With one map. And slightly reduced content. We would like to get a better overview about your feelings on the balancing and the performance of the game.

Sign up now, we'll pick roughly 150 - 300 players once the test begins. And we will, of course, announce the exact start in time. So you will know at least one week earlier when you'll need to have some time to build a massive city.

Best Newcomer Award

Hello Builders!

We've won an award. Here in Saxony for the first time the Games Innovation Award Saxony was a thing. And since we're from Saxony, we participated in the Newcomer category. And yep, we've taken the crown. Judges were also able to play the game in its early state.



Also, keep an eye out next week. We might have taken a look into a certain feature of a certain videogameplatform you might be browsing on and maybe we're planning something for January...

Feature Showcase #4: Statistics & Trading

Sorry for being so silent recently. We've been working hard on Highrise City and the progress we're making is quite good. We even implemented the new GUI into the game. While not yet being fully finished, it already makes the game feel way better compared to the versions a few months ago.

Besides that, we've also made progress on the world map and included a new area into the game which is based on Cape Town. We've also started working on the ingame building editor - however, no promises here that it will be available right from the launch on. We plan to have it ready 4 weeks after the initial release at latest though.

But today we want to put the focus on something else: Trading. And Statistics. Obviously every Citybuilder needs some good hard facts, right? So the new Feature Showcase will explain how statistics work and how you can make use of them.
