Update 0.4.10

Update 0.4.10 revamps the tier progression of the Tribe by introducing the tribal ritual.

Patch Notes:

Features:
- Tribe can now perform rituals at the ritual pole
- Tribe unlocks higher tiers through rituals instead of research

Main Menu:
- Restyled main menu and other parts of the UI
- Improved lobby finding ease of use by removing some of the filters
- Resolved an issue where AI was not properly removed from a lobby

Balancing:
- Confused creatures turn rogue instantly when taking damage
- Horseback Spear Warrior health reduced to 55 from 170
- Horseback Spear Warrior health upgrade is now much cheaper
- Increased effect of tier 4 upgrades of Army and Colony
- New tier 4 upgrade for Tribe: Horseback Warrior armor increase

AI:
- AI now keeps attacking instead of retreating after a few structure kills
- Resolved an issue where AI went passive after a failed rush

Mission:
- Pike Infantry and Sniper no longer need to be unlocked
- Trade cart in escort side objective is now allied with the player

Update 0.4.9

Update 0.4.9 visually enhances Army units, introduces inland villages and adds new maps as well as a multitude of improvements.

Patch Notes:

Visuals:
- New textures for all units of the Army faction

Gameplay:
- Neutral villages can now spawn inland
- Rogue creatures no longer fight each other
- Only a player's own harvesters contribute to morale

Maps:
- All maps were tweaked to include the new inland neutral villages
- New 2v2 map: Barren Rooftop
- New 1v1 map: Glistening Prairie
- Reduced size of Hillclimb Island, Southern Frontier, Mountainous Lands, Dragon's Reach, Outskirts
- Steppes of Fate was reworked and renamed to Forest of Prosperity
- Arid Highlands was reworked and renamed to Primeval Woodlands
- Pristine Plateau was reworked and renamed to Pristine Pastures

Mission:
- Added relic spawner portal

Other:
- Fast forwarding is now much faster when network ping is low
- Construction sites always show ground dirt
- Construction sites now show correctly in fog of war
- Units becoming visible from fog of war are now correctly rotated
- Chat history reopens with chat widget
- Chat prompt is now navigable with keyboard inputs
- Default frame rate limit is set to 60
- Resolved a rare issue where the lobby countdown could get stuck
- Game over screen also shows for observers or when in replays
- Gates have higher selection priority than walls

Update 0.4.8

Update 0.4.8 brings a lot of improvements to missions by introducing side objectives and explorable fog of war.

Patch Notes:

Mission:
- Added an additional fog of war that hides unexplored areas of the map in darkness
- Introduced optional side objectives that give reward multipliers when completed
- Polished home island buildings
- Reworked liberation objectives
- Adjusted mission objective difficulties
- Improved Mystic Mountains map generation
- Verdant Plains and Mystic mountains now spawn more resources
- Ancient forest pathways are now wider

Update 0.4.7

Update 0.4.7 introduces stealth, streamlined structure upgrading and rogue creatures.

Patch Notes:

Features:
- Upgrading structures is no longer instant and works similar to building structures
- Burrowed explosive barrels and sentry totems are now invisible to enemies
- Objects hidden through stealth can be revealed through nearby scouting units or by moving very close with any unit
- Tier 3 camps can spawn rogue creatures that will attack your enemies if essence is tributed

Mission:
- Adjusted tech tree perk costs for more frequent upgrading in the early levels
- Various bug fixes and improvements

Tournaments:

Update 0.4.6

Update 0.4.6 makes building structures much easier by having builders pick up supplies automatically. Additionally, there are now animated particles whenever items move.

Patch Notes:

Visuals:
- Item movement is visually indicated by particle effects
- Build grid shows corruption information

Gameplay:
- Builders automatically pick up nearby supplies and also from harbors and depots
- Improved unit pushing behavior to make them move more smoothly
- Ghost walking units of opponents can now be body blocked
- Cargo slider makes a unit wait for goal load and is reset when reached
- Recorded commands are no longer cancelled when they are the only command in the queue
- Recording commands appends to the last recorded command instead of the last in the queue
- Attack moving onto neutral units is treated as focus fire

Balancing:
- Tribe starts with only 2 travois
- Warrior extra upgrade costs more and takes longer to research

Tournaments:
- Lobbies that are not full after 30 seconds are aborted
- Added an observe button next to players in the score sheet to join their games directly
- While waiting for a tournament game, it is now possible to enter another game (mission / custom / tournament observing) without leaving the queue

Other:
- Upgrade to Unreal Engine 5.1
- Main menu can be closed with the shortcut that opens it
- Trailer music replaced old main menu music
