v1.19.48 + New Proximity Feature

Hello players!

We are thrilled to share some exciting new updates with you today:

New Proximity Feature: Windmills now give 2 food per touching farm, and only 1 food for other farms. This feature also applies to Churches and Cathedrals, making the gain of culture more complex. Cathedrals now give 2 culture to Churches, and 3 more to Churches touching the Cathedral.

Since the end of the beta and thanks to bug reports on our Discord, we have made some bug fixes and optimizations:

  • Optimized armatures and certain shaders for better performance.
  • More reliable and precise host migration/reconnect.
  • Fixes related to ships.
  • Optimized ragdolls.


We also implemented small features that were requested on the Discord server:

  • Revolt and pirate disasters are now reduced to 80% of their effect, making them less frustrating.
  • The first meteorite will no longer hit the castle.
  • New skin for the Viking Guard Tower.


While we're busy ironing out the last bugs before release, we've also been tinkering with the new faction's buildings. Check out this sneak peek of the latest addition, inspired by the Roman/Greek civilization. We hope you'll enjoy this new addition to the game!

Dice Kingdoms' Release Date & Suggestions!

Hello everyone,

We only have a few days left of beta access and I hope you have enjoyed playing Dice Kingdoms. We would like to thank everyone who gave us feedback and suggestions, some of which we have already implemented and others we have started to work on.

In addition, we would like to express our appreciation for the support we have received from content creators such as Dizoff, whose coverage has helped us reach a wider audience

In order to keep track of all the suggestions we've received, we're going to create an article for each suggestion on our Discord. This will allow us to have a group discussion about each suggestion.

We have also estimated the time it will take to fix the minor bugs and make other improvements to ensure the best possible experience. We are pleased to announce that the game will be released in Early Access on Steam on April 3, 2023.
