Dynamic HUD Options
By popular demand, players can now immerse themselves fully in the world of Mournstead with new HUD customisation options:

• Normal – The default setting, as it has been until now.
  
• Dynamic – UI elements appear and disappear based on context.
  
• Off – Zero UI, for those seeking complete immersion
  

NPC Helpers from the Start
You now have the option to summon NPC Helpers right from the first encounter with a boss Previously, they were only available after your first death.


Intel XeSS Integration
We've integrated Intel Xe Super Sampling (XeSS), a machine-learning technology that boosts performance while maintaining exceptional image quality.


Stability Improvements
Fixed several random crashes for a smoother gameplay experience.

Improved Online Connectivity
A series of updates to help improve overall gameplay smoothness when playing online, in particular, reducing rubberbanding and lag

Male/Female Body Option
In response to recent community feedback, players can now choose between ‘male’ and ‘female’ body types as part of the character creation process

New Umbral Ambience Audio Setting
In v1.6, we made a number of changes to improve the exploration experience of the Umbral realm, one of which was to reduce the initial ambient soundscape. Building on this, the latest update introduces a new audio option in the settings menu, giving players the ability to adjust the Umbral Ambience volume to their personal preference.

Stability Improvements
Enhanced overall stability by resolving crashes that occurred in rare situations.

As the holiday season dawns once more, we find ourselves reflecting on the joy and adventure we’ve shared with the Lords of the Fallen community. Last December, we celebrated together with the Season of Revelry, a two-part event filled with festive cheer and thrilling challenges. For those who joined us, the echoes of Offerings of Orius and the Trial of the Three Spirits still resonate: Snowballs were thrown, trials were conquered, and secrets were uncovered…


This year, we’d like to take a moment to remind both new—and veteran—Lampbearers that the Trial of the Three Spirits quests remain active, offering three unique armor sets and weapons representing the opposing factions of Radiance, Rhogar, and Umbral. For those of you eager to dive back into these trials (or take them on for the first time) here’s a refresher on the riddles that will guide you on your journey:

Illuminator Aubrey A cell holds the weapon of one who would in light bask
And with radiant prayers uttered, carry out his grave task
A sculpture within a tower, two more where brothers dwell
And three among those who bid their old lives farewell
A stone barrier removed upon ending your bloody quest
A lambent shrine uncovered, a once-hidden place of rest

General Engstrom In the aftermath of a battle fought within a ravine
Before a twisted tree, pledge yourself and be seen
Gather dousing ammunition from a frozen land
And extinguish the blazes of five infernal hands
Offer another sign, one expressed most fervently
And in victory feel no shame in unleashing your glee

Herald of the Maw Upon an eerie idol, bestow a mother's embrace
And see that firelight is cast upon your face
Lonely notes ring out, refrains to be followed
Ensure the flames are no longer by darkness swallowed
A conductor in the shadows, a grim harmony achieved
A deep descent concluding with rewards received

And what better way to embrace the holiday spirit than by tossing a snowball or two? The throwable snowballs from last year’s update are still available—ideal for adding some frosty fun to your co-op adventures or sparring with invaders.
