FURTIVE v0.1.5 Patch Release

Release Notes
  • Major performance stuttering has been fixed. Our next steps will be to achieve a higher FPS.
  • Added buoyancy to items in lakes, which should rectify the issue of not being able to pick up items under water. Items can be picked up once they have surfaced.
  • Added a new skill tree for upgrading inventory capacity up to 100, mastery level lets players keep their toolbar items after death.
  • Added repair functionality to the building hammer, allowing the player to repair damaged structures using 1 wood log per third of maximum health of the building object.
  • Changed Toolbar UI placement in the inventory item window to be more prominent, with an added header.
  • Adjusted spawnrates of soldiers, wildlife, helicopter patrols, and boats. Let us know if these rates need further tweaking.
  • Soldier's attack priority between players and buildings has been adjusted to prioritise the player more. Let us know if they still tend to target buildings more.
  • Removed forced opening prologue for first time players. You will now only be prompted once when clicking play in the menu, asking if you wish to play the prologue or not.
  • Trees now fall in the direction the player is facing when chopping them.
  • Fixed missing stump texture underneath cut trees.
  • Menu screen buttons now hightlight when hovering the mouse over and clicking.
  • Fixed a bug where The Trader NPC would spontaneously attack the player.
  • Added a check to prevent removing items from furnaces/campfires if the player's inventory is full.
  • Soldiers/Wildlife will no longer take damage from vehicles that have no players inside, and the minimum impact damage has been increased so they don't die too easily when touching vehicles.

Ongoing Improvements
  • Performance drop while wielding building hammer.
  • UI Markers clipping out after 1000m.
  • HV-1 Interaction for client players.
  • Still looking for any further multiplayer bug reports so that we may address them promptly.
