Hi, everyone. Welcome to this week's developer's diary.
Unfortunately, I have an international online meeting in a few hours. So, let's get through this week's content update really quickly.
This is a busy week in the world.
The White House is rallying support for ICE after one of its agents shot a 37-year-old lesbian woman who was encouraged by her "wife" to ram through the agent. There are a lot of spicy things behind the scenes if we dig deeper, such as the woman's ex-husband was a US veteran who passed away because of PTSD, not too long ago. I'm not here to tell you any conspiracy theory. But, I'd reasonably consider that getting married to a lesbian woman is not very helpful to the PTSD condition. The man deserved better. However, no matter how questionable this woman's action was, it was still a life lost. It's not something to be cherished, even though many leftists celebrated the murder of Charlie Kirk. We are better than they are.
Anyway, here is what the White House posted.
Because of US law, that's free game assets for me.
Thus, you can find related game content in the CIA safehouse in Queensmouth.
Meanwhile, Iranians are protesting against the Islamic Regime of Iran for their freedom. Many have voiced their support for the protestors. Among them are President Trump, Elon Musk, J.K. Rowling, and Grandmaster Kasparov. Elon changed the Iranian flag on X to the one used before the Islamic Regime came to power, that is, the lion-and-sun flag, as a show of support. He is also working to provide critical Starlink internet connections to counter the regime's crackdown on communication.
I agree with them. So, in the game, we now also have this Lion and Sun flag.
Now, let's go back to the main story development.
Continuing from last week, we are now in the garrison building of the Eternal Staff.
Reinforcements have arrived.
You can find a quartermaster who trades goods. You can also find traveling merchants breaking through the demon's siege to maintain the supply line.
But it's not the time to celebrate yet. Because the challenge ahead is more than just demons with brutal forces, it's something more sinister.
Many holy warriors have come to this crusade to seal away the evil. Many paid their ultimate price for this righteous cause.
Yet, as a final act of spiteful hatred before admitting his defeat, the demon lord Beelzebub cast one last curse.
But the demons cannot control them. Even in their heart, they are still pious even after being turned into mindless zombies.
Now, they linger on this floor longer after the last war ended, no longer conscious, only to follow their last order, that is, to hold the line and defend this location. They will attack anyone who comes close.
That's the real reason the Eternal Staff usually doesn't allow outsiders to go deeper into the North Peak. The very existence of their fallen brothers is not ideal for morale. The commanding officer is trying to find a cure. Their brothers don't want to face them or even put them down. But, Brother Jeremiah Vellumir will ask you to mercy-kill them, collect their ID tags so that their families can know they are finally at peace and with the LORD. It's up to you to decide how to proceed with this situation. Depending on your decisions, your teammates will react differently.

More or less, it's because I want to use him in this week's update's title image rather than put some fallen zombie brothers there.
Because many tragedies and other bad things have happened this week around the world, I want something positive.
