DD#39 the Hacker, the Mammoth, and the Murder Who "Was Suicided"

Hello everyone. Welcome to another week's developer's diary.

Warning! Security breach! Reality instable.

Oh, don't worry. That's just our new hacking mini-game heavily connected with the "programming" skill of each character. Mercenaries, secret organization agents, information brokers may always need someone to crack password-protected laptops to get the information they want. Thus, they go to Bazaar to seek experts to work for them. If you are good at it, you may be the exact expert they look for and gain some easy money.

Meanwhile, as the DOTA2 Ti10 concludes with the Russian team beating the Chinese team in the finale, "Why not ban the Mammoth?" became a trending meme in the online communities in China. As if it would have made any difference if the Chinese team banned the Russian team's signature champion "Magnus" (Known as the mammoth in China). When my countrymen are whining about this over and over this week, I'd like to just say congregations to the winner.
Thus, the Siberia area in the game got some explanation, and we also got mammoths there now.
They can be powerful allies on your journey to defeat unspeakable horrors.

And, I guess I will just mention the mammoths to my fellow Chinese Dota2 players for fun. :P

However, life is not all just making funs and happy.
A piece of recent news concerns me.
It was said a kind man, who once saved a dolphin, brutally murdered his neighbors after 20 years since they stole his house from him by using some legal loopholes. During the 20 years, he asked all kinds of government departments for help. He asked the police for help. He asked the media for help. Nobody responded. But, after the murder, the government reacted within 20 minutes. They announced whoever can find him alive will be rewarded 20,000RMB. However, they also announced whoever can find him dead will be rewarded 50,000RMB. A very dark joke indeed.
The story ends up with someone finding him alive. Witnesses mentioned he was arrested without resistance. However, the public records said he committed suicide before police forces can arrest him.
Many believe, he was made to "be suicided." So that we may never know the truth about another crime where people stole his house for 20 years. There will be no further investigation. There will be no trails. Everything will soon be censored on the Internet. Everything will soon be forgotten.

But, they are wrong. There is NEOLITHIC. A game all about memories.
In the PSB of Liu, the procedurally generated quests will always tell the tales of this story.
The story of a murder who "was suicided."
They call it suicide while I am not convinced it's not murder.

The world around me is just that dark. I hope being a lawyer and making this game can bring some light to it.
This is for this week.
