DD#29 Friday the 13th
Alright, agents. We live in a supernatural world but that does not mean we need to be superstitious...
Wait, I just found there is a bug that messes around all the graphics tones right now?
Fine, I fixed it after going through all the maps and event commands.
It's caused by an automatic script that modifies the way to display a portrait while somehow RGD does not like the way RMXP stores tone information. What a lovely bug!
At least, now the pipeline can be set up better if I just make the game capable to run in a non-RGD environment. It totally has nothing to do with Friday the 13th.
The Euclid Calendar also seems to malfunction if anyone switches the mouse on/off when inputting the number. Who would do that? I wonder. But, it's still just another bug that gets fixed. It totally has nothing to do with Friday the 13th.
Items that are supposed to give a new skill to a character can somehow erase that skill from that character if it is already learned?! Well, something was obviously wrong in the logic. Thus, some more fixes are applied to solve it. It totally has nothing to do with Friday the 13th.
I found some expired potions in the People's Hospital, they are really cheap. So, I grabbed one and drank. Of course, I got poisoned. It totally has nothing to do with Friday the 13th.
I saw an Internet Addicted Girl wants a bunny, so I went to capture one for her. I successes after the 20th attempt. That's just bad RNG and low binding skill. It totally has nothing to do with Friday the 13th.
I was testing out the new "programming" skill when hacking an enemy combat robot. Instead of causing it much damage, it went berserker. It totally has nothing to do with Friday the 13th.
Meanwhile, I'm feeling a bit fatigued from the side effect of the COVID-19 vaccine I just took yesterday. A civil lawsuit I'm working on turned out maybe a criminal case. The Perfect World stock went well until today some media reports their cruelty to one of their laid-off employees and consequently wiped out all the profits. It totally has nothing to do with Friday the 13th.
Such is the story that happened in the week that has a Friday on the 13th. It totally has nothing to do with Friday the 13th.
Why so serious? :)
After all, the bound between this game and the reality is just that thin.

#########Content#####################
Some survivors may be found in the 1978 version of the Queensmouth. However, their minds are broken. Thus, they are hostile. (That's the early stage of the shade infection comparing to the mayor.)
There is usually at least 1 shade near those crazed survivors.
#########System#####################
Made the game possible to run on original RMXP without RGD. (However, save files cannot be shared between those 2 versions.)
The non-RGD version is just for users with programming experience. Thus, it's not provided by default. You can just copy over RMXP's exe and dll and remove RGSS301.dll to run it.
I'm just using it for one very specific purpose.
###########DEBUG#######################
Major bug fix: solved a problem all the tones got messed up because of an automated change in 20210801. RGD failed to write back the tone data correctly.
