The Incident UPEI0633-2022-A
Hi, everyone, this is a special breakdown announcement of all the Halloween content added to the game in recent weeks. (It's not a DLC release. But, apparently, Steam's announcement system does not have a category for permanent additional content for Halloween events.)
Last year, the Halloween content was limited to the haunted 2nd floor of Ardham Hotel with ghosts and Halloween-themed items, revealing a tragic attempt to contain a certain threat in town.

This year, we got a lot more content for Halloween.
Let's start with the video footage of Incident UPEI0633-2022-A, you can find it on a computer in the research sector of Site Demeter.

Oh, well, the Foundation screwed up something once again. :D
After all, they are not the much more famous SCP Foundation in another universe. Even if they are, those characters certainly means:
Secure
Containment-breaches
Pull-it-off.
OK, enough for the Foundation jokes. Here is a fun fact, the video is censored in China in real life. When the video is censored, you know you did something right regarding Halloween. It's meant to be scary.
The document about the curse stones also mentioned a small-scale conflict between the Foundation and the mainland China branch of the Dragon. Thus, censorship is expected. But, I don't think the Foundation doesn't have anything to penetrate the Great Firewall. So, here we go:

It's the same video. But, it's accessible behind the Wall.
Now comes the question, why do we specifically mention this incident?
Well, Steam tells me that we need a Halloween Event.
OK, OK, that's nothing to do with Steam.
The truth is...
Well, we know the curse stones from 2004 just arrived a few updates ago. We know we have some Pumpkin Men on the run in the research labs of the Foundation.

Yes, those guys.
So, here comes the story about their origin, where they came from.
You can find video footage and documents about what went wrong in an already doomed Foundation facility.
They are a new type of enemy in the game. But you can also capture them and turn them into pets.

What makes things more fun is, they are technically still plants, they grow from seeds. The special seeds are cursed by the curse stones, just as mentioned in the video. Thus, right near the computer where you can find the footage, you will also find the recipe about how to create such seeds. By combining your 3D-printing skills and your gardening skills, you can make those Pumpkin Men appear outside the labs of the Foundation. After all, it's time for Halloween.

Alongside the supernature part of the game, we also got normal pumpkins that can grow from their seeds added a few weeks ago. You can carve them into decorations, cook meals, and make pumpkin juice from them. What can go wrong with just that? :)
Anyway, Happy Halloween! Sometimes, I wonder whether the world in this game or real life is crazier. :)
