DD# 165 Ron, These Things Are Better than Magic Wands!

Hi, everyone. Welcome to another week's developer's diary.

With the release date of the "All Fear Comes from the Lack of Firepower" DLC, we got more gun-related content this week even from the most unexpected places.
Such as:

There is a new magic school in the Mages Guild known as the Gunmancy. You can now find Harry the Gunmancer to purchase guns in the Mages Guild. He can also teach a new spell that allows you to magically have more ammo during a gunfight. Nobody knows exactly how that spell works. Whenever something cannot be explained. That must be magic or quantum physics. :)

Meanwhile, as he has a new unique character appearance, you can use his appearance on your main character or customized teammates as well.

I hope you just had a good laugh. Now, let's move on to more serious topics.
The content development for the new DLC needs to be locked down to give it a proper release. That's just a good engineering practice to avoid any last-minute change to blow things up and cause the DLC to miss the deadline. So, the DLC content is already this week. But, before the content lockdown happens, two new guns have been added to the game.
Those are:

QBZ-97 is an interesting assault rifle. It's made in China by Norinco. However, unlike its previous version QBZ-95, QBZ-97 uses 5.56×45mm NATO ammo instead of the 5.8x42mm rounds used by many other guns made in China. It's also a widely exported weapon. You can even find it in Canada for civilian usage. Since we have Chinese players in the game's QQ group proposed to add this gun, I made it happen this week.

Beretta PX4 is a small pistol designed and manufactured by the famous Italian company Beretta for self-defense and law enforcement purposes. The reason to have it in our game this week is to provide another alternative to the relatively cheap but less useful M1911 and the powerful but expansive Desert Deagle.

We also got a not-so-supernatural version of equipment that can provide additional ammo during a gunfight just like the Phantom Magazine spell does. That's the ammo belt. Many enemies such as Russian Orc Soldiers, Undead Russian Soldiers, Bandits, Mercenaries, and Katan Outlaws now drop this equipment.

Talking about those Russian Orc Soldiers, they may now also have a small chance to drop the washing machines they stole. You know where it goes. Here comes the weekly make Putin's supporters unhappy part of the developer's diary. :)

Thus, let's go to the story content of the Siberia front.
The map has been expanded to the Church on the Hill. There are a lot more Russian Orc Soldiers and Meat Cubes, plus some vengeful spirits in the graveyards. All areas outside the main church building have been completed and are accessible.
