Sheiff Harry's Hat may now have prefixes.
Sheiff Harry's Hat now has a dynamic quanlity inline with other items. (It may be green, blue, or cyan depending on prefix numbers.)
Sheriff Harry's Hat now has improved attributions.
Sheriff Harry now always drops his hat.
Convert the item generating code of Sheriff Harry's Hat to be OIG data with a bit more modern structure. (It has been more than a year things this item existed in the game. A lot of improvements happened elsewhere.)
All previously generated Sheriff Harry's Hats are not affected by all those changes.

Added a new game folder to organize all the debug logs.
Changed the way that localization conflicts are reported. It will no longer pop up every single localization text conflict. Instead, it will popup once and write every conflict into a debug file.
That shall only happen if someone is making a localization mod.
The system now logs any OIG data conflicts. (All in the background, no warning message as some mods are already overwriting those data as a feature.) For example, the "Baguette Is Not Overpowered" mod.
[Steam Workshop]Mods shall now be able to add customized 3D printing recipes much easier than before. (No need for interface codes, just need item generation code that can resue from OIG data.)
The system now logs any crafting data conflicts. (In the background, generate debug files.)

Fixed a bug that the drop list data of Sheriff Harry's Hat does not follow the naming format. (The problem is automatically solved by the system. But, to make everything in the game structure clean and tidy, I decide to fix it anyway.)
Fixed a bug that the sheriff's Hat may sometimes overwrite an existing item in inventory.
Fixed a bug that Sheriff Harry's Hat does not have a special ID on it.
Fixed input conflicts between mouse and keyboard in save/load scene. The up/down buttons on the right now only react to a mouse click or controller input.

加入了一个新的文件夹用于存放各种debug的日志文档。
修改了系统检测到本地化文本冲突的时候的报告方式。现在系统将不会对每个冲突单独报告。而是报告一次,并且将冲突全部记录在一个debug文件中。
基本上这只会在有人制作一个本地化MOD的时候才会发生。
系统现在会自动记录OIG数据发生冲突时的情况。(在后台进行,不会有报错信息。毕竟某些MOD已经在把这个当做一种功能使用了。) 比如某个加强法式长棍的mod.
【创意工坊】Mod现在可以更方便地添加自定义的3D打印物品的配方。(不需要接口的代码。只需要物品生成的代码。而物品生成代码可以重用OIG数据)

Added a new document in the "Beneath the Church" area about the tragedy of a mundane investigator.
New item: Melamine Milk (I take it personally to remember what happened in China in 2008. Thus, you can always find this in my games.)
Added Melamine Milk to the item drop list of common people in Liu.
Added Melamine Milk to the item drop list of infected people in the quarantined neighborhood.
Added random supply boxes in the Quarantined Neighborhood's Committee Office. You can find food, potion, and Melamine Milk inside.
Butterflies now work in the Queensmouth Town Hall building and can bring you out of the building. (Work for both the current timeline and the 1978 timeline.)
Wiki has been updated with this change.
The Town Hall's fallout shelter gate will now be closed by default in the 1978 timeline.

Added a new enemy type in the Worker's Dormitory: Senior Crazed Worker. (Yes, the name itself is mocking.)
They look a bit different from normal workers.
They have slightly higher attributions than normal crazed workers. (Just a bit, nothing too crazy so far.)
They have a higher chance to drop an equipable item.
If the item they drop has at least one prefix, the effects of the prefixes have a 10% bonus.
Defeating them provides a bit more Exp.
Increased the number of enemies in the Worker's Dormitory
Many enemies may now have their maxhp number with a bit randomized component so that they shall no longer have the exact same maxhp anymore. (The change does not apply to any Boss enemies.)
This is an experiment. Maybe we will have more diversed encounter later.

Added a global numeric modifier for prefix numeric components.
Optimized the drop list searching algorithm. We now use two hash tables to make things a bit faster than the previous single array. Worst-case complexity optimized from O(N^2) to O(N) by eliminating a for-loop. After all, space becomes a lot cheaper now than 17 years ago.

在外观上和普通的工人有略微差异。
相对普通的工人有略微更高的属性。(只是略微的,目前还没有什么太疯狂的提升。)
有更高的几率掉落可以装备的物品。
如果掉落的物品带有词缀,则该词缀的效果有一个10%的额外数值提升。
击败他们有略高于普通工人的经验奖励。
增加了这个区域出现的敌人总量。
很多敌人的最大生命值现在有了一个浮动的变化,让就算同种类的敌人也不再完全具有一样的最大生命值。
这目前是一个实验,之后也许我们可以做出更加多样化的遭遇战。

加入了一个可以全局调整前缀中包含的数值的变量。
优化了遍历掉落清单的算法。我们现在使用两个哈希表而非此前的一个数组。理论上会比之前快很多。通过干掉一个for循环的方式,最坏时间复杂度从O(N^2)优化到了O(N)。毕竟,现在的内存空间比17年前便宜得多了。

DD#69 Will You Follow the Butterfly or the Dark Whisper?

Hi, everyone. Welcome to another week's developer's diary.
I will tell you a story this week. This is a story of dark times.
It does not matter if it's the catastrophe caused by natural or mad-men, evil dictators or tyrants.

Today Shanghai is still in lockdown, Azovstal is still under siege, and Queensmouth is still in a Zombie Apocalypse. Life is never easy, yet every single day, we fight to overcome all those obstacles in our lives even sometimes having to witness our comrade fall asleep and never wake up again.

Stay in a situation long enough, and you can clearly feel your sanity fading away.
You can see it out of the corner of your eye, there are whispers in the dark, promising an easy way out.
They whisper.
Why resist if you can just give up and join the other side?
Why keep going if you can be relieved from your position and go on a normal life like everyone else?
Why suffer in this endless pain that nobody will even remember?
As such, along the way, many have lost their faith.
The temptation is just so sweet, step by step, it corrupts.
Dirty deeds can be done dirt cheap.

As we read through history, whenever there are tales of legendary heroes, there are also those who fall into temptations.
From Ephialtes of Trachis to some unknown electrician, "traitor" is their name.

It is the time to expand the story and the mechanism a bit more about how Queensmouth falls.
Let's start with the town's Shade-Tainted Mayor.

He has been a mini-boss for a while.
However, the item he drops became less interesting after our prefix system and a lot of other systems have been implemented. Thus, a revision has been made this week. His tainted business suit now has better attributions and qualities as a unique boss drop item. It may also have prefixes which may sometimes have astonishing powerful combinations alongside its default special attribution to cause poison. Following up with this, all generic shade creatures now also have their item drop list implemented that provides different clothes, shoes, weapons, and accessories.

Does that feel sweet?

Now, think again, what if all those items dropped from shade creatures all have a special side effect known as the "Shade Corruption?" A corruption that certainly sounds bad. But, the dark whispers will encourage you to take it. As for now, there is no significant issue with such corruption. Except, you may not sleep so well at the night. Occasionally, you may even get nightmares so real that they attack you.
But, look at the power you may get. Do you think that's the risk you may want to take? Maybe, it's just the edge you need to defeat more horrible monsters. Maybe just a bit more corruption will not hurt?
You don't know why. But, something out there even makes a demon feel uncomfortable.

That's the part of the corruption.
But, there must always be something good left in this terrible world, isn't it?
Sure.
There are rumors that those good souls may not go to heaven right after their death.
They may sometimes linger a bit in the form of butterflies to guide people in danger to somewhere safe. At least, that's the lore from another game I just played recently.
I hope that can be true so I added them to the game.

May all those in pain in the world may find their butterflies to help them to find their safety.
May all those trapped can find their freedom.
The world may just need that right now.

There is much more content added this week as we got 8 updates.
But, I will leave the rest part for you to find out in the game. (Alternatively, you can just read the changelogs.)
Sometimes, I just can feel a desire to implement something.
Thus, there was a day I made 2 updates this week.
Let's consider that a positive aspect of losing sanity during the Shanghai lockdown for now.

Modified the rendering pipeline for item icons. Added a channel to add tone to adjust the color of those icons.
[Mod]Added support to allow mods to display their own books or overwrite existing books in the game. (Previously, it's possible. But, tedious.)
Added an error message when a previously existed document is no longer available in case you disable a mod you previously use.
Also added code to prevent a hard game crash in such case.
