- improved graphics with additional effects to combat, weapons, debris and new options in settings
- new difficulty system
- rebalanced combat
- better UI with improved information clarity, readability and more information available
- restructured tech tree, featuring new techs and rebalancing
- overhauled tutorial that gives better understanding of the first steps in the early game
- added Nemesis Fleets as a penalization for retreat and fleeing from the battle
