Post-Launch Community Check-In

Greetings, Directors,

The Pegasus Expedition has been out of Early Access for a couple of days now, and we would like to check in before the first post-release weekend. Have you already played the new 'The Purge' campaign?

It is not immediately accessible to first-time players, as it is more challenging and requires some knowledge of the story. To unlock it, you need to play the main story campaign until you encounter the biomass (how long it takes varies from playthrough to playthrough, generally a few hours). From then on, when starting a new game, you will be able to select ‘The Purge’ campaign and help the "Independent Regenerative System" (as the biomass is known to its friends) take over the galaxy.

We would love to hear what you think about the new campaign! Please, consider leaving a review here on Steam. Every review helps, and if you like the game, this is an easy way to support it.

Thank you all for your ongoing support throughout Early Access and beyond – your suggestions inspired many of the changes and new features in the game, you truly helped shape The Pegasus Expedition! Rest assured, the full release does not mean we are suddenly abandoning the game - we are looking for as much feedback as possible, watching out for bug reports, and planning what needs to be patched and updated. If you'd like to ask any questions, report any issues, or just chat about the game, consider joining a growing community on the game's Discord server, we will be happy to see you there! But we, of course, continuously watch the comments here and in the Steam Discussions as well.

And if you are still unsure whether you'd like to give The Pegasus Expedition a try, we have some talented content creators covering it - Pravus, for example, did a great job explaining the basics in his video:

We look forward to seeing you out there, past the portal at Zaere!

The full version will bring the most unique scenario, The Purge, in which you get to play as the dreaded Biomass. Are you looking forward to dropping all the moral dilemmas of the main story and just be the baddies?

Besides that, the diplomacy system will receive a significant upgrade, as will the general enemy AI, and as usual, many bugs will be fixed.

Come share your thoughts on our Discord server, we really want to know how you like the game, or what features we could still improve, even after the full launch!
