Release Today! Into The Darkness VR Early Access

Hi everyone!

The day we've all been waiting for is finally here – Into The Darkness VR will be available later today in Early Access on PCVR via Steam!
So, what can you expect from the current version of the game?
At launch, Into The Darkness VR features the first half of the story campaign, with the remaining levels already deep in development. In addition to the Story Mode, Early Access includes a fully playable Sandbox Mode with multiple unique rooms and physics-based mechanics. You’ll be able to freely experiment using the Spawn Gun to create your own scenarios with weapons, enemies, and objects – and yes, we plan to keep expanding this mode over time.

We're also planning to add an Arcade Mode featuring fun mini-games like snowball fights and our own twist on the classic CoD Zombies formula – perfect for quick sessions and replayability!
We’re not sticking to strict development phases or dates – many features are already far along in production, and we’ll be adding them as soon as they’re ready.
So, what’s next? Here’s a quick look at what we’ve got planned:
Into The Darkness VR is an ambitious, physics-driven VR game that blends a gripping story campaign with deep sandbox possibilities – all built for PCVR. Early Access gives us the opportunity to polish the experience with your input, and we believe the best ideas come once players get their hands on the game.

So dive in, explore, and don’t hesitate to share your feedback, ideas, or bug reports. Help us shape this world – together.
Known issues:
• pause menu does not work on controllers other than Meta Quest (we are still working on support for less popular headsets)
 • in rare cases the game may crash while loading a checkpoint
 • some settings may not apply correctly or have no effect at this stage.
 • putting random items into quickslots can cause that quickslot to stop working
Troubleshooting:
