Terminus: Zombie Survivors - V0.9.6 Evolution Update
Hey everyone,
V0.9.6 Evolution Update is out now! I have uploaded the V0.9.6 to the default branch. Many thanks to those who helped fix bugs and improve balance during the Beta.

I have added Twelve new special zombies in this update! đ§ â Helmet Zombie, Police Officer Zombie, Firefighter Zombie, SWAT Zombie, Construction Worker Zombie, Zombie Runner, Fat Zombie, Nimble Zombie, Tough Zombie, Big Zombie, Listener Zombie, Decayed Zombie

I added new sprites for zombies and also added special zombies to diversify the gameplay. Special zombies have much more varied HP, armor, and action/attack power; some have special abilities such as bright ears or causing disease. Of course, some zombies have weaknesses, such as narrow vision or the inability to bite.

I've also added the sandbox option that many of you have requested. You can control 15 modifiers, including food, medicine, zombies, and more. You can use it after ticking the sandbox option in settings.

There have also been many quality-of-life improvements. I added icons for status ailments, improved the UI for reading books, and added options to adjust the scale and transparency of tooltips.
Other gameplay improvements include adding new weapons and recipes. Check out the full patch notes below for more details!

- Added art for 70 zombies and their body parts destroyed.
- Added 14 sets of zombie art and animations in the top view.
- Improved top view art of existing zombies.
- Increased the characterâs base movement speed by 10% at 1x speed.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed inaccurate mouseover range when there are multiple zombies or zombies with furniture on the same tile.
- Fixed a bug where some zombies would pass through doors even after repairing them.
- Fixed a bug where text would be entered even when the text field was unfocused.
- Fixed a bug where you could use some items, including gun parts, without waking up.

- Added 14 zombie traits: Head Protected, Fully Protected, Fully Armored, Strong, Mighty, Fat, Fast, Slow, Good Reflexes, Decayed, Good Hearing, Unable to Bite, Wide Vision, Narrow Vision.
- Special zombies have up to 3 zombie traits.
- Changed the previous zombieâs status based on their HP to Crawling, Armless, and Limbless traits.
- Added new weapon items: Nail Bat, Barbed Wire Bat

Feature
- Added sandbox option. You can enable it in Settings > Games. You can change 15 settings before starting the game: the amount of food, medicine, melee weapon, ranged weapon, ammunition, tool, electronics, clothing, book, part, car, car fuel, zombies, zombie spawn rate, and special zombie ratio.
Gameplay
- Normal zombieâs body max HP has been reduced from 10 to 5.
- The chance of food items being found in houses increased.
- Terminus Survivorsâ cover shots increased from 10 to 12.
- Default zombie increase rate from 1 per 1 hour to 1 per 2 hours.
- Added Quality stat to melee weapons/tools. Depending on the Quality, the damage varies by -20%/+20%, and durability reduction varies by -40%/+40%.
- When crafting tools/weapons, the durability of the result is now always 100%, and the Quality varies depending on Dexterity.
- Revised the calculation of the value of melee weapons/tools to consider their Quality.
- Added the safe distance of 3 from zombies when moving to new places; It is only applied to areas you have not visited.
- Changed the way guidebooks are read. You get the placeâs location information whenever you read certain pages (17-23).
- Changed the way novels are read. Restores 2 morale per 1 AP and reduces morale increase by 0.1.
- Added armor to some special zombies. HP does not run out until armor becomes 0.
- Gun shop spawn count increased from 2 to 3.
- The maximum amount of fuel found in cars has been increased to 4.
- Listener zombies have a 100% chance of finding a survivor. (Unless the Survivor has the Quiet trait)
- Reduced chance for normal zombies to recognize survivors in buildings. (5% â 3%)
- Attacking Decayed Zombies at close range causes Disease.
- Slightly increased the rifleâs value and reduced the weight of some tools by 20%.
- Changed the term Mode to Scenario and set the name of the default scenario to âSanctuary.â
UI
- Added tooltip scale option. (Settings > Graphics)
- Added tooltip background opacity option. (Settings > Graphics)
- Removed the book reading popup; You can read a book by right-clicking it in the backpack.
- You can read a Book/Thick Book/Guidebook using all APs by holding right-clicking it.
- Bookâs tooltip now describes the skill you can get and shows how many you have earned.
- Added icon to show when zombies have strengths or weaknesses.
- Added armor to the zombie tooltipâs HP indicator.
- Added icons to be displayed over the character in case of status ailments (Bleeding, Sprain, Disease, Infection).
- Added text to the bottom of the menu popup so you can check your current sandbox settings.
- Added water resistance to the character detail panel.
- Added hotkey âLâ to turn on the lights.
- Changed the default hotkey for moving places to âPâ.
- Changed the default hotkey for hiding the tooltip to âLeft Ctrlâ.
- Changed the order of settings hotkeys so that important keys come first.
- Changed default hotkey for End Turn to Spacebar.
- Changed the name of the Enter key from âRETURNâ to âENTER.â
- If the Enter key is registered as a hotkey, the Enter key on the keypad performs the same function.
- Right-clicking on the road map modal to close the modal.
- Slide bars of the settings popup (tooltip scale, volume, etc.) can be adjusted by mouse scrolling.
- Adjusting animation speed is now working to all button progress bars, which was not in some popups, including the cooking and crafting popups.
