Terminus: Zombie Survivors - V0.9.9 Supplemental Update Released

Hey everyone!

I'm thrilled to announce that the supplemental update for version 0.9.9 is now available on the default branch. A big thank you to everyone who provided feedback during the beta phase. This supplemental update aims to quickly deliver features frequently requested by our community before the next major update. I've included the following features:


[h3]1. Permanent Death Toggle Option[/h3]



For those who prefer a more relaxed gameplay experience or wish to avoid accidental deaths, I've added an option to toggle off permanent death. This option allows continuation from the most recent save, avoiding the permanent loss of progress.


[h3]2. Map Note Feature[/h3]



You can now right-click on locations on the map to add notes. Whether it's a broken-down vehicle, an NPC you left behind, or a place you've looted, feel free to jot down anything that aids your gameplay.


[h3]3. Customization for Survival Partner/Squad Traits[/h3]



I've introduced a new customization feature for the Survival Partner and Survival Squad traits. This enhancement allows you to select companions with preferred occupations, stats, and traits, further tailoring your gameplay experience.


In addition, there have been enhancements in texture art, gameplay, UI, and performance. Please refer to the full patch notes below for more details. I'm always grateful for everyone's valuable feedback.

  • Improved the texture of ground tiles.


[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed a bug where locations revealed by the Neighborhood Resident trait did not reach 10.
  • Fixed a bug where occasionally AP appeared insufficient when it was equal to the required AP for an action.
  • Fixed a bug where occasionally diseases were not cured after eating rotten food and sleeping.
  • Fixed a bug where animal traps could not be set in gardens.
  • Fixed a bug where the radio incorrectly reported zombie-free locations as dangerous after extended periods of survival.
  • Fixed a bug where zombie runners remained dormant and did not wake up when set on fire.

  • Added the ability to write notes on the map.
  • Added an option to disable permanent death.
  • Added the ability to customize companions when selecting the Survival Partner or Survival Squad traits.


[h2]Gameplay[/h2]
  • Modified the boat escape ending to fully complete the game.
  • Set the requirement for dissecting animals to 1-2 AP.
  • Maintained the morale boost from Vegetarian and Carb Lover traits after cooking.
  • Ensured that the stat-enhancing effects of ingredients are retained in the dishes prepared with them.
  • Increased the number of items sold by fortified houses with higher reliability levels.
  • Adjusted penalty reduction so that there is no trade penalty at a reliability level of 10.
  • Increased the proportion of broken doors and windows with higher difficulty levels.
  • Modified the crafting recipe of the makeshift fishing rod to use either wire or thread, and removed thread from the fishing rod recipe.
  • Generally reduced the encumbrance of bags by about 20% and slightly improved the performance of makeshift bags and tote bags.
  • Added +100% animal trap crafting speed to the Park Ranger's Trapper trait.
  • Set the value of fire extinguishers to decrease based on condition.
  • Modified the flashlight's value to be more influenced by charge level.
  • Revised the valuation formula for bag items, reducing the impact of durability on value.
  • Lowered the value of ointments to 'Low'.
  • Now you can craft sticks from planks or lumber.
  • Increased the hydration and energy effects of vitamin drinks.


[h2]Performance[/h2]
  • Improved lag issues when opening inventory popups on tiles with many items.
  • Improved lag issues when the intensity of campfires is very high.


[h2]UI[/h2]
  • Enabled dragging multiple items at once in the trading popup.
  • Allowed long right-click on novels and Bibles to use maximum AP at once.
  • Displayed a message in the tooltip of novels and Bibles when morale is already at maximum, preventing further reading.
  • Added a warning popup when cancelling crafting with progress made.
