Galactic Glitch - New Price and Coming Update



Hey everyone!

We've got some news to share - we're lowering the price of Galactic Glitch to $12.99 USD (or your local equivalent) starting today!

We've been thrilled with the response to the game so far, and we want to make it more accessible so more players can join our awesome community. If you've got friends who've been interested but waiting for a good time to jump in, now's their chance!

Just to be clear, this isn't happening because we've stopped development. We're still hard at work on the next big update, which is coming along nicely. It will include the final Boss Orb level, more weapons and powers, as well as more juicy content that we're already excited to share with you soon!

So if you know anyone that enjoys a good Roguelike or you think would enjoy the game, do please let them know about it! The more people playing and enjoying Galactic Glitch, the better we can make the game for everyone!

Galactic Glitch 1.46 - More Polishing and Balance



Hey everyone!

We're back with another update focused on polishing and balance! After the big Corrupted Reality update, we've been gathering your feedback and working away at many fixes big and small, as well as some balance fixes that we hope you guys will be happy about!

We also added some QoL features like a better camera zoom during combat, so you have a better view of what's happening and where attacks are coming from, as well as completion marks for weapons in the Hub, and mouse-over hints for all resources. Plus we gave the much-beloved Void Dagger and the Firefly Thrower a visual and balance update!

  • Fixed Skimmer trap could block room opening in Cybervoid
  • Fixed some environmental objects in Armory couldn't respawn
  • Fixed Stunning Entrance power sometimes failed to trigger
  • Fixed corrupted room offers having empty slots
  • Fixed Casino Crates explosion
  • Fixed Void Ring cooldown bug
  • Fixed Camera Position when player deposits Boss Orb

Galactic Glitch v1.42 - Corrupted Reality Hotfix



Hey everyone!

Just a quick hotfix to address some issues that popped up after the big 1.4 update. Nothing major, but these should make your runs smoother!

[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • Fixed Void Prospector could cause lock when opening crates
  • Fixed enemies in Frontier level sometimes not attacking
  • Fixed some enemy bullets not appearing correctly
  • Fixed seeking bullets not targeting Boss parts properly
  • Fixed Void Ring not dealing damage on Scrap Avenger
  • Fixed grabbed environmental objects sometimes not appearing
  • Fixed military traps activating without spawning enemies
  • Fixed Marshal boss shooting at wrong angles
  • Fixed some shop-related issues


[h3]Improvements[/h3]
  • Minimap no longer shows items that are in shops
  • Reroll power message now only shows once per run
  • Powers now show proper popups in corruption shops

Galactic Glitch v1.4 - Corrupted Reality Update



Hey everyone!

It's that time again! The Corrupted Reality update is here! A huge update spanning all kinds of different areas of the game! This is, by far, our biggest update since 1.0, adding a new difficulty level, new weapons, new bosses, new mechanics, new story beats, more powers, more room types, and a whole new story character (you'll meet her soon...)!

We've also added features many of you have been asking for, like the Power Library in the hub where you can select which powers are active for your next run, and minion reviving, which makes those summon powers much more useful, especially in long fights against big bosses.

[h3]New Content[/h3]
  • Boss Orb 4 - A new difficulty tier with an upgraded final boss encounter
  • New Mechanics: - Take in the new corrupted powers, if you dare!
  • New Character: Meet Symera !
  • New Weapons: Three awesome new guns to unlock!
  • New Room types: Many new rooms types, like new shops and hidden rooms
  • New Music: Many areas now feature completely new music tracks
  • New Bosses: All early game areas got new bosses and variants to fight and defeat!
  • Power Library - Choose which powers appear in your runs
  • Minion Wrecks - No minion left behind! You're now able to revive fallen comrades!
  • Game Mode Selection - Select your game mode when starting new game files
  • Better progression - Guaranteed Power unlocks after won runs
  • Clearer completion - Completion marks on prototypes now clearly show what you've accomplished


[h3]Gameplay & Balance[/h3]
  • Rebalanced all difficulty levels, for better progression
  • Glitched enemy HP boost reduced for better balance
  • Shop prices are now consistent (no more variance)
  • Buffed various powers and weapons (Firefly, Railgun, Quantum Beam, and more)
  • Enhanced boss health bar animations
  • And tons of additional improvements and fixes!


This update has been months in the making, and it's all based on your feedback. Thank you so much to everyone that has been sharing their opinions and feedback on the forums and Discord!

Galactic Glitch v1.11 - Lots of Fixes and Improvements



Hey everyone!

While we're working on the next big update, we've got a smaller update with many fixes and improvements for you today! We've fixed a bunch of bugs that were reported and bothered a lot of players, and we also added some more options to challenge yourself!

As an optional challenge, you can now see the highest Boss you have beaten with each weapon. We don't have any concrete rewards planned for this, and the tracking only starts from now, but we're sure to think of something for the next updates! This is just a little extra feature, that will let you get a bit more glitching in if you're looking for the extra challenge!

  • Boss Orb displays on weapons - track your highest boss defeated with each weapon!
  • Added achievements for defeating bosses with specific prototypes
  • Input hints on map for cycling through Powers and weapons

  • Fixed soft lock with Shadow prototype when fighting certain bosses
  • Fixed alternate path after Behemoth not always working
  • Fixed Armory enemies sometimes firing invisible bullets
  • Fixed boss achievements not triggering properly
  • Fixed health sometimes loading incorrectly
  • Fixed powers sometimes exceeding limit after loading
  • Fixed mini boss shields sometimes not being destroyed after activation
  • Fixed returning to 4th boss room from tesseract causing softlock
  • Fixed Explorer and Speedrun post-level rewards now giving same amounts
  • Fixed Shrapnel Burst interaction with Void Ring
  • Fixes boss enemies' health bar not appearing sometimes

We're already hard at work on the next big content update, and that one is expected to be ready in about 5 weeks from now. It will include new enemies, new bosses, even some new mechanics and lots more!
