2/26/22 Chaos Chain Development Status Update

Salutations, dwellers...
So, I wanted to stop by and let everyone know how part 2 of the first major content update is coming along.

As of right now, I have a pretty large change log prepared for the update, but not exactly what I had hoped to get done, yet. I still need to work on the new district, the main storyline, and more side quests. For the current work that I do have, the first companion and companion system in general which is actually a lot more complex than my previous games, a new 2-part side quest with multiple endings, lots of improvements, and a lot of new characters to talk to and interact with are ready. I've also added some new combat related skills that are specific to certain weapons to make combat a bit more diversified in terms of animations and skills being used like in my previous game, Lawless Lands.
Unfortunately, the past week-and-a-half have been incredibly turbulent for me and I've had to deal with some important personal matters including falling victim to identity theft, so I have not been able to focus my attention on the game's development as much as I would have liked - especially in the recent days. That said, getting this out within the next few days like I originally planned is going to be impossible, so I hope to get it out within the next couple of weeks. I apologize for the delay, even if the circumstances were beyond my control.
Just know that the update is coming, progress is steadily being made, and it'll be worth the wait! :-)
