Fixes & Tweaks
- Added an ‘Easy Reload’ option which can be enabled within the Settings Menu. Just bring the gun to your belt and it will automatically reload after a short delay!
- Added a post-credits scene. Enjoy the sunset of Arizona whilst playing fetch with Buddy.
- Fixed the “Well That Was Easy!” Achievement not unlocking after completing the campaign on Apocalypse.
- Buddy’s front holsters can now also store grenades instead of just weapons.
- Added 2 additional back holsters to Buddy that can exclusively store grenades, allowing you to craft more explosives and have Buddy bring along a total of 4 items to your next fight!
- Added Weapon Weight as a user setting to Quest, smoothing out any rapid motion.
- Buddy now no longer runs away after just having interacted with any of his holsters.
- Added an option for disabling the blood overlay to prevent discomfort for those affected.
- Reduced the volume size of zombies, allowing players to get closer to them than before.
- Added Muzzle Smoke FX to all weapon types, further improving the feel of the gunplay.
- Reduced visual issues that occurred when Buddy attacked a zombie mid-animation.
- Fixed ammo not always spawning in the first round of a single player Horde match.
- Implemented a shotgun pump lock, preventing you from accidentally ejecting shells.
- Fixed a bug where grenades would sometimes be scaled to miniscule sizes.
- Fixed a bug where the gamma setting was inverted, making it darker when increasing the gamma.
- Added a gamma calibration screen when first starting up the game, allowing you to fine-tune it to your liking.
- Fixed a bug where the gun rotated around the wrong axis when holding the controllers closely together.
- Reduced the snapping when you grabbed a weapon with both hands, in turn making the gunplay feel smoother.
- Improved the belt & holster calibration. Both have been simplified and now have previews, allowing you to precisely calibrate them to your liking.
- Added configurable offsets for the yaw & pitch of your hand, allowing you to configure the angle you hold items to your liking!
- Improved most tutorials and added a few new ones for previously unexplained features.
- Added a ragdoll arm to the helicopter pilot at the start, now allowing you to jiggle it around!
- Fixed the remote player’s ragdoll flying off whenever they got killed by a zombie.
- Decreased the chance of the game crashing after playing for multiple hours without taking off the headset.
- Fixed a few cases where you could accidentally throw away your weapons whilst looting.
- Added an ‘Unstuck Button’, which you can use to teleport to a valid location if you are too far away from the center of your playspace.
- Boosted the VoIP volume (specifically for Quest 3), making it easier to hear each other when using the in-game communication.
- Fixed being able to walk through locked doors when you were holding the door handle.
- Fixed the case where mines would explode on any contact, even with limbs & dead bodies.
- Added rumble whenever you pet Buddy, with the intensity based on how fast you rub.
- Added haptic clicks whenever you hover and / or click on anything in the user interface.
- Fixed Molotovs not always exploding when hitting a surface at a certain angle.
- Fixed a few instances where the flashlight wouldn’t be enabled after respawning.
- Fixed some checkpoints that would respawn you at the start of the level, blocking your progress.
- Fixed a bug where handing the shotgun to another player would allow it to hold infinite shells.
- Fixed the alarm no longer triggering in the “RUN, LEGS, RUN!!” level after respawning.
