Second Major Content Update 2023.08.11 Now Live

The wait is over! The second major content update is finally here, bringing you a completely revamped city, where mysteries and treasures await around every corner. On top comes the all-new crafting system, offering a whole new layer of complexity.

Complete City Overhaul:

  • Revised city architecture with over 150 new meshes
  • Revised market district
  • Added lower district
  • Added residential area
  • Added locked upper district
  • Added quest to gain access to upper district
  • Added new merchants
  • Added many hidden loot stashes
  • Added some secret locations and treasures
  • Implemented weather system including, dynamic lighting
  • Implemented new ambient NPCs


Crafting System:

  • Added crafting workbench to player home
  • Added new tool items for smithing and alchemy
  • Added weapon, armor, and shield upgrade kits
  • Added alchemy recipes for potions
  • Added smithing recipes for upgrade kits, tools, and resources
  • Dropped weapons can now be looted and scrapped
  • Added 14 new alchemy ingredient items
  • Added 7 new smithing ingredient items


Improvements:

  • Implemented appearance randomizer for citizen NPCs
  • Implemented quest giver spawn rules so they spawn at appropriate locations
  • Added some new citizen meshes
  • Replaced some old citizen meshes
  • Added some new guard meshes
  • Replaced tutorial guard meshes
  • Added new smithing animation for equipment merchants
  • Added new brewing animation for potion merchants
  • Added new idle animation for merchants
  • Added new idle animation for guards
  • Improved NPC sitting animation
  • Added two new merchant voices
  • Added hammer sound for NPCs
  • Added cause of death to death screen
  • Added flashing effect of possession bar if critical
  • Disabled pop-up of unessential tutorial messages
  • Added notification icon for unread tutorial messages
  • Changed object highlight effect to be more noticable
  • Improved inventory sorting

Balancing:

  • Increased dungeon loot amount
  • Increased effect of dungeon level on loot amount
  • Slightly decreased spawn chance of rare items
  • Increased quest XP reward
  • Increased quest gold and loot rewards
  • Increased protection effect of armors and shields
  • Slightly decreased all level requirements
  • Slightly decreased level requirement for artifacts
  • Slightly decreased damage of all enemies
  • Slightly decreased damage and health of Kings and Berserkers
  • Slightly decreased health of Peasants and Workers
  • Slightly increased maximal possible attack speed
  • Slightly increased damage of all weapons
  • Slightly increased bow damage
  • Slightly decreased stamina cost for bows
  • Slightly decreased stamina cost for running and jumping
  • Added more gold and potions to start loot


Fixes:

  • Fixed quest dungeons from not getting removed
  • Fixed arrows from not ricocheting from crystal hearts
  • Fixed NPCs not being able to walk on rugs
  • Fixed an issue with higher-level chest spawning
  • Fixed inventory sorting from not resetting
  • Fixed not being able to attack with the torch
  • Fixed some clipping and missing dungeon objects
  • Removed lever from barricaded gate
