Week 4 of the series will let you get behind the wheel of the last stand of the muscle car era: the 1973 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am SD-455. Creating this car was a feat on its own: since the OPEC oil embargo was at its peak, Pontiac’s engineers wanted to build a fast car, but they needed it to be emission friendly. Not only did they manage to do both, but they also created an iconic engine of the era: the Super Duty 455.
