Engine Overhaul v0.2

This is a copy of our v0.2 release post for early adopters over on Itch.


Come on in from the cold, and warm yourself with a cup of coffee. Wet Nightmares is ready, and another patch is good to play. However this update is quite different, there is zero new content. Stay with me here, let me explain.

Wet Nightmares has been completely remade on a new engine. Meaning every single issue plaguing the game has been erased, all the compatibility issues with android phones, end user pc configurations, and all the nagging little bugs are no longer here. We’ve also reduced the game size by about 700mb down to a very cool 500mb in size.

As we built the game more and more we began to run into game-breaking issues, what should be a very lightweight game ended up having issues on just about all platforms. Our primary goal in moving from Visual Novel Maker over to Renpy was fixing our stability issues. The game now runs buttery smooth, especially on Android phones.



It has taken us several months to complete this task, a massive thanks to our programmer who has been working hard to get it perfect. As thanks for your patience, owners will also have access to a Samara Pinup Pack, 17 very lewd Samara drawings to help with those cold nights.

[h2]What’s next for Wet Nightmares?[/h2]
The future for this little story is a bright one! With the newly ported source code to Renpy we can finally focus on chapter 2 and beyond. The story has been completely written in Spanish, and first-pass English. Our next steps are the copy work for English and to “block out” chapter 2 and more.

Elewder in Early Access

Warlocks everywhere, rejoice! Elewder is launching this evening on Steam’s Early Access! We have been developing this particular title for almost a year and she is finally ready to be put in the hands of an amazing community.



The beta build launching in a few hours has all the base mechanics every Warlock needs to fight back against his mistress, players will venture across 15 different levels, combat 5 uniquely talented bosses, collect items and spells to grow in power, amass wealth and essence, and most importantly, show the Succubus army why Warlocks are not to be messed with!

The Early Access period is looking to be roughly 7-9 months long, we are very much seeking user feedback on the systems, the balance, and performance. Kinky Fridays wants to hear your ideas on improvements to bring, new mechanics to build, new content to add. Elewder coming to Early Acecss

It is our pleasure to announce that our latest game Elewder, the hotly anticipated erotic twin-stick shooter roguelike, will be coming to Steam’s Early Access on October 27th!

We have been working hard all year on this game, and have finally advanced the development to the beta state, from here on out we will be looking to balance our combat and progression mechanics, incorporate community feedback and suggestions, polish our presentation and visuals, and implement our narrative. The Early Access platform provides the perfect space to do just that.



The upcoming beta release means that all of our desired gameplay mechanics and loops are implemented within the game itself, some like the core gameplay loop are more fleshed out than others, but the bones that make up the whole game are in place and ready for more content.





Here is what you can expect from Elewder in the Early Access launch:

  • All 15 levels and the level progression are in the game. If can overcome the labyrinth, you can make it to the end of the game and face off against the Succubus herself.
  • All 5 unique biome and tilesets are read to explore. Each boss you encounter will have a unique staging area that will eventually change the enemies you face off against.
  • All 5 bosses are ready to be conquered. Face off against the mighty Succubus Queen and her four Generals.
  • A basic dialogue and narrative system. The narrative elements in Elewder will come with time, the basic system and dialogue overlays are in the game only as a placeholder for now.
  • A handful of items and spells to equip. While a far cry from the total items we plan to add, the items in the beta release will help inform you all on how combat will eventually end up.
  • Unique rooms to uncover. The total unique rooms to be found in Elewders maze is only numbering in the few, with more to come from our own plans and community feedback.
  • Basic implementation of our dynamic OST. The soundtrack for Elewder is being handcrafted right now, and our system for dynamically scaling the music is at its infancy.


Here is what we will be adding during the Early Access development time:

  • Major balance and economy modifications. Our goal is to make each run of Elewder enjoyable, unique, and accessible while maintaining a skillful gameplay design.
  • Massive variety of enemies and encounters. The minions of the Succubus army should and will feel unique, each room you enter, every floor you conquer will lead to more varied and interesting combat scenarios.
  • Highly erotic and detailed animation sets. We want every single animation in Elewder to be dripping with lust and erotic energies.
  • Narrative and Plot. The story of Elewder and the tutorials/interactions found within her walls will be a delight to many. A real focus will be placed on finding the right voice actors for each role and bringing them to life with amazing performances.
  • Gameplay modifications and earning your win. Right now only a handful of gameplay items and spells can be found in Elewder. We aim to increase the total number of items to around 100 and spells to roughly the same. No two runs will ever be the same.
  • Meta Gameplay and progression. Failure is not the end in Elewder, each run will reward the player a chance to grow their power outside the run, making the game that much more rewarding to play.
  • Rooms to explore. Each run will have a host of unique and powerful rooms and NPC’s to find and understand, some powerful, some not so much.
  • A uniquely composed soundtrack. Our team is hard at work composing a unique orchestra-metal-infused soundtrack for the game, the tracklisting right now is around 13 3-4 minute tracks that will blow your minds once you hear it.
