Patch 1.2.1.0 release notes
Dear All,
Happy to announce the new release 1.2.1.0 containing the Fairplay AI (Phase 1), new features, bug fixes and many more!
Special thanks to DeltaCadimus for making the Fairplay AI mod! Another special thanks to Lobo for the thorough testing and thanks to everyone helping the development with any feedback or suggestions!

- Changing the AI build orders to make the skirmish games more challenging without cheating. Works with both Vanilla and Renegades Expansion.
- Currently only one difficulty (AI - Advanced) is available. Additional difficulties will be added in Phase 2.
- Additional commands added, see: https://five-nations.fandom.com/wiki/Build_orders
- The AI can rebuild their bases using an MCV when their main base building is destroyed.
- dashed line pointing to the production rally point

- new ingame options added to show/hide the clock
- hotkey indicators on the buttons themselves

- extra health bar options (Normal, Selected, Damaged, Always)
- define control group hotkeys in json
- hotkey profiles: Classic, WASD scroll, Grid layout and Custom

- due to the new Grid layout many control button icons moved to the 3rd row
- highlight insufficient resources in tooltips
- hotkeys for researches
- cargo ships can be produced by mining stations as well
- a new Renegades skirmish map by DeltaCadimus: (2) RGS - Requiem Aeternam
- Renegades: Rectors automatically got absorptive plating
- Charybdis' Spikeworms took longer to attack with after upgrade
- AI overproducing cargo ships
- show federation background loading screen for random race
- fix cargo production icon placement in mining stations for Sylon and Thorun
- removed the logic which converted old save games (prior to 1.1.0.0 version) to new ones which caused occasional startup crashes
Balancing changes
- reduce or remove supply cost of MCVs (eg. Federation Kutuzov): AI has a better chance to rebuild their lost HQ
- add cargo ship production to mining stations too: reduce the disadvantage of cargo-based races who need to suspend production of workers when in need of a cargo
- Thorun Probe (created by Vanguard): increase the lifespan from 20 to 40: otherwise they die very quickly
- Zhogarn Mite: increase Hull from 35 to 50, increase healing from 70 to 90: make it more appealing, and also utilize the AI to use them
- Zhogarn Orm: reduce tachyon cost from 150 to 125, increase Hull from 150 to 175, increase speed from 50 to 60 => making it more appealing
- Federation Rustom: reduce the Katar UAV capacity from 3 to 2 AND improve UAVs stat => they make the battlefield cluttered and also leading to performance problems
- Katar UAV: Hull increase from 35 to 40, Shield increase from 0 to 10, using Iklwa Laser instead of Tactical Laser (increasing damage from 6 to 8)
- Whip UAV: Hull increase from 35 to 40, Shield increase from 0 to 10
- Federation Orca: decrease damage from 30 to 26: they became quite OP compared to other ships in the same class (and cost)
- Mastodon Reactor: decrease speed upgrade from 80% to 60% => cargos seem hilariously fast compared to their look and role
- Zhogarn spawn: metal cost reduced from 30 to 25, energy increase from 10 to 15, speed increased from 55 to 60
