Revamped mines
The mines have completely been revamped with a new look, and a brand new revamped puzzle to boot!
Progression updates!
The progression of the mod has been tweaked to make the Crystal caves more open, as well as fixing up a couple of minor inconsistencies!
Dark light and darker light are finally here!
Intended to originally be released when the mod came out, they were postponed because they needed some extra development time. Dark and darker light are a new challenge mod to pack on the pressure and encourage new players to play OneShot through again!
Demos and resource packs!
Demos and resource packs are still a bit unfinished, however they are mostly functional at the moment. We've decided to keep them in this update to gage what people think of them. Demos are a way of recording and playing back your inputs (basically TASing) so you can share them with other people!
Resource packs are fairly self explanatory and allow people to customize graphics and audio within the mod.
Bugfixes
• The ending crash is fixed
 • No more encoding errors when having a non-english player name
 • Fixed a random crash with the rowbot
 • Fixed a random crash saving menderbot
 • And much, much more!

We're Finally Here!

The first release of the first OneShot mod to hit steam is now out!

After 4 long years, the Astrabit team is proud to present Oneshot: Fading Memory.
The first OneShot mod to be released on steam is now in early access!
Update plan
Our plan going forward is to release a content update every 2-3 months highlighting our progress, until we finish the mod.

We want Fading Memory to be the best it can be, and early access is a way to have that.
People can test things out before they become set in stone and give us constructive criticism and feedback to improve the mod.

We'll be openly accepting any constructive criticism you may have for us.

In the next month or two we'll be publishing an update that will include features that did not have the time to make it into Fading Memory's first release.
After that, we're setting our sights towards the Glen and Refuge.
Community
If you want to communicate with the developers and talk with other members community, you can join our discord here!

Translator applications now open!

i was not planning to release this form this early but i guess i may as well
If you want to sign up to translate FM, you can do that here!
Please note that we're not finished with the the mod yet and you'd be translating the parts we'd be expecting not to change.

Going off of the language data from people viewing the steam page, here's the languages we'll need translators for, in order of importance:

 1. zh-cn Simplified Chinese
 2. ko-kr Korean
 3. ru-ru Russian
 4. es-es Spanish
 5. ja-jp Japanese
 6. pt-br Portuguese
 7. pl-pl Polish

We're open to anyone translating to a language besides these!
We'll try our best to work out a system in the meantime, as well as group people translating the same languages together into a team.

Don't be shy! We won't be performing a deep moral assessment on your character. Questions like "Why do you think you should be a translator?" don't have to be a super in-depth life story, it could just be that you're confident in English and another language.
