Update Oct.20.2024
Maps
• Removed a bunch of misplaced wall filler objects inside North East and North End.
• Plugged some of the most obvious holes in walls in these areas, too.
• Adjusted positions for some city objects.
• Fixed a missing window texture near North End BlueCat terminal.
• Fixed "Zolle" buildings using wrong window textures.
• Fixed floating Test Track runway signs. These can also be knocked over now.
Misc
• Nitro-equipped racers driving an I4 Codrac will no longer use the stock hood, as the N2O injector doesn't fit under it.
• Repairing an assembled part removed using the MONKEYWRENCH cheat will no longer temporarily reset the positions of moved attachments.
• Updated credits.

Update Oct.14.2024: Dual Barrel!
Random bodykit discounts
• Custom bodywork will randomly be discounted at auto shops!
• The discount is typically -25%, with some exceptions. The discounts make the prices similar to stock equivalents.
• Discounts are applied per bodykit (same grouping as for coloring).
• Discount RNG is re-rolled every couple races won.
• Value of purchased discounted parts is permanently reduced - this means you can't sell them for profit, but repairs will be cheaper.
• Why only bodykits? Because discounting these doesn't screw with career balance, as performance characteristics of these parts are largely identical to stock.
Exhaust & related
• Added dual exhaust variant for Zed. This will come by default with supercharged cars featuring the dual header.
• Added another variant of rear bumper 3, with dual exhaust cutouts.
• Improved surface normals for several stock exhaust pipes.
• Fixed several cases of dual exhaust asymmetry.
• Fixed Furrano exhaust clipping into wheel wells.
• Disabled SL2 exhaust tip N2O particle effect (style consistency).
• For modders & creative cheaters: SL2 exhaust tips can now be attached to stock SL1 exhausts. Use the new garage cheat "NOISEBOMB" to allow them to show up in the Catalog for SL1 cars; You'll then want to use the "PEGAWRENCH" cheat to move them into better-looking positions, as clearly the stock pipes weren't designed for this :D
For context, these normally-hidden parts are shipped with the game for use by imported SL2 cars (see car_convert folder).
Options
• Added options to set preferred garage & driving camera modes (first person/classic, first person/hood/bumper/chase);
You'll be automatically switched to the chosen camera / interaction mode upon entering the relevant section! You can also leave these as "NONE", retaining current behavior.
• Moved various scattered options to a new "CAMERA & FIRST PERSON" category.
• Various reorganization & renaming. If any option/bind appears to be missing, it has simply been moved.
First person garage
• Smooth first person auto-entry.
• Faster auto-entry in Mechanic mode.
• Fixed view direction getting messed with upon dialog hide after directly switching between Catalog/CarInfo/ClubInfo using hotkeys.
• Mechanic/Painter interface won't be always hidden if there's no car in the garage.
• First person 'no car' / 'welcome' dialogs now instruct to press F4 / F8 for CarLot / Buy Cars.
• Extended timeout for first person side panel auto-shown for a freshly started career.
• Painter slider readouts now give prompts to use Mouse X / Y while Misc. Action 1 / 2 keys are held.
Cars & parts
• Better Catalog previews for some Furrano & Naxas parts.
• Fixed Yotta and Codrac door & Sunset and Yotta chassis paintability. Also patched Remo door paint issue.
• Fixed suspension mount materials for several cars.

• Fixed Racer Rangefinder, and potentially also opponent spawning not working properly in hood/bumper cam.
• Fixed Garage car explode button being selectable with arrow keys, causing selection to leave side panel.
• Improved Shop #3 part grouping.
• Added difficulty warning & suggestion to complete Classic Career with ACE Mutator first to Junkman Career description. This text goes away after you do that or complete a JM run.

More to come! Stay tuned! :)
Car generation
• Fixed excessively frequent missing lights on Coyot, Codrac & Sunset trunks.
• High-end Badge used by a racer may now come with "Detroit" wheels (drag tyres). This almost always happens if the TURBO career mutator is set.
• Badge used by a racer may now come with side exhausts.
