Grab your axes - God of Riffs has finally come out of Early Access on Steam, and we’re ready to ROCK!
In a moment of dire need, the metal gods call out for a fearless champion to embark on a rhythmic journey into the domain of the Lord of Silence. Answer their cries and brave forth to slash skeleton armies to a metal beat and save humanity from a sad, rhythmless afterlife.
Here’s some of the exciting features we’ve added since the last Early Access update:
We’ve come a long, long way since we entered Early Access, but just because we’ve hit “1.0” doesn’t mean we’re done.. In fact, it's just the start of the journey for God of Riffs!

Battle For the Metalverse - God Of Riffs’ Story Mode! Additional tracks including ‘Fly Away’ by GloryHammer, licensed songs from US and Australian Metal bands and collaborations with indie games!
More original tracks! Release on Meta Quest App Lab! RiffMapper Beta Public Launch - an exclusive tool for creating and importing your own custom songs (PC Only)

Here’s some of the exciting features we’ve added since the last Early Access update:
- An updated, slicker UI - for smoother navigation
- Massively increased performance - so you can keep on rockin’
- Improved haptics on Meta Quest controllers - feel the buzz
- Tutorial level to train new players to rock god status!
- Updated ranking system incentivising smashing skeletons over precise hit timing (and a leaderboard reset!) - the harder you rock, the more you win
- 55 total achievements - so you can start rackin’ them up
- 6 additional new songs (10 Total) including:
- The full original soundtrack from BMG
- “Lay To Waste” by Frank Klepacki and The Tiberian Sons
- ‘Money Money’ by Shota Nakama, from the latest game by SWERY’s White Owls, ‘The Good Life’!
