Bug Fixes related to game sessions (0.3.0.4)

Fixed a timeout issue caused by a bug that prevented proper matching after a sortie.

  • Fixed an issue that caused some UI displays to be corrupted in play environments with screen ratios other than 16:9.
  • Fixed a issue that prevented some recovery effects from being displayed.

[h3]Addition of buffs and debuffs is now easier to understand[/h3]
When a buff/debuff is added to a character or boss, an "icon and name" will now appear around it.


[h3]Resetting hate is now easier to understand[/h3]
Text is now displayed when hate on the boss is initialized.

The only hate value you lose is the white gauge.


The above display can be toggled on and off in the "Display buffing" item added to "Options" -> "Game Settings".

  • Adjusted player AI (COM) evasion behavior, etc.
  • Lighter effects for some bosses.
  • Lighter background and character-related graphics
  • Normal Mode/Stage 2: Adjusted to make it harder for the player AI (COM) to fall inside the stage.

Notice of Bugs Related to Game Sessions

Thank you for playing the early access version of TrinityS.
This is 'TrinityS' development team.

Currently, there is an issue where a game session cannot be started from the lobby when playing with multiple players. The development team is currently investigating this issue, and we would like to inform you that until the issue is fixed, you may be able to play the game normally by using the following temporary workaround.

[h2]Change Host[/h2]
Changing the player who creates the lobby may change the host and allow the game session to start normally.

[h2]Verify integrity of game files[/h2]
'Verify integrity of game files' may allow you to start a game session successfully.
You can try 'Verify integrity of game files' by right-clicking on the game title in the library, selecting 'Properties' and then "Local Files".

If the symptoms do not improve after trying the above methods, we would greatly appreciate it if you could post detailed information in the following bug report thread.
We will use this information to investigate the cause of the problem in order to fix it.

Today marks the first anniversary since we released TrinityS last April 27. (In Japan, it is April 28th due to the time difference.)
We have been able to continue development thanks to your feedback and support over the past year.

A lot has happened since the release of the early access version of TrinityS until today.
The past year has been a new challenge for our development team as we have added new skills, a hard mode to fight boss monsters with more vicious skills, and many other content additions.

  • Hard mode/Stage2: Fixed an issue where hit detection was lost when "Cyclone" was activated on a character in the process of falling.
  • Hard Mode/Stage4: Fixed an issue where "Crystal Fall" would not be performed if the HP fell below 50% with the fallen crystals left in the "Crystal Fall".
  • Fixed an issue where some bosses under certain conditions would perform enhanced attacks without going through the motion after the phase.
  • Fixed an issue in which some recovery effects were not showing effects.
  • Fixed an issue in which an input sound would continue to play when receiving an invitation while keying in the title menu.
  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the character to become inoperable at the start of a stage.

  • Issue where players could move even if they were dead.
  • Unintended behaviour of the player AI (COM), such as suddenly stopping.

  • Hard mode/Stage2: Fixed an issue that could cause certain action patterns to be repeated.
  • Hard mode/Stage3: Fixed an issue where the Lightning Needle would be placed off-stage.
  • Hard Mode/Stage4: Fixed an issue where damage calculations for Petra Distraction were not being performed correctly.
  • Hard mode/Stage5: Fixed an issue where damage calculations to 'Despair Wave' were not being performed correctly.
  • Hard Mode/Stage6: Fixed an issue where 'Icicle Nova' attacks could sometimes be avoided.
  • Fixed an issue where an unintended strategy was possible in Hard Mode/Stage 6: "Dead Scream". Fixed an issue where gimmick handling was possible even when two or more players entered the same magic circle.
  • Fixed an issue where the 'Rescue Count' and 'Revival Count' were reversed on the Result screen when clearing the game.
  • Corrected a spelling error in 'Rescue Count'.
