New Modes & Difficulties Out

  • [p]Story Mode - for those wanting to follow along the story without having to worry too much about dying again and again... and again.[/p]
  • [p]Blood, Sweat and Tears - for those wanting an extra challenge.[/p]
  • [p]Custom Mode - where you can adjust the experience and include modifiers like no more ammunition at traders, turn off curse lifting, blessings and more! [/p]
  • [p]One new achievement related to Blood, Sweat and Tears.[/p]
  • [p]A special “victory” item awaits those who battle through Blood, Sweat and Tears to forever remind them of their difficult deed.[/p][p][/p]
[h3]New Game+ is here as well, with its own modifiers! [/h3][h3]Dare to combine it with one of the new difficulty modes?[/h3][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]New quests:[/h3][p][/p]
  • [p]Jim is suspicious of the new basement in the saloon, but he also has another big job on his mind.[/p]
  • [p]The shaman may require assistance once more in another attempt to right the wrongs.[/p]
  • [p]A brand new NPC may offer two wild, new quests that will take player across whole map[/p][p][/p]
[p][/p][h3]These modes and quests will most certainly need balancing...[/h3][h3]so we're gonna need feedback from y'all![/h3][p][/p]

  • [p]Traits screen is now back to how it looked prior to 4.3.0[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a rare issue in which certain saves from Chapter 1 could never load properly[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the Occult Mask to now apply a full Curse properly on player death[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue with Priest’s coughing in Chapter 2 that could be heard in the Fort area even after rescuing him[/p]
  • [p]Fixed kills with dynamite not counting towards Crimson Brooch’s value[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Strix dealing more damage in melee than intended[/p]
  • [p]Fixed arrows appearing at the center of the screen for a split second on high framerates[/p]
  • [p]Fixed “Loremaster of the Barren Lands” achievement being granted before gathering the last note[/p]
  • [p]Fixed bug that was preventing keybindings for staying for some users[/p][p][/p]
[h3]Improvements:[/h3][p][/p]
  • [p]Optimization for vast amounts of dead enemies across whole map - this should increase performance and stability of the game in cases where player killed a lot of enemies[/p]
  • [p]Game should be able to recognize corrupted saves a bit better and inform about them[/p]
  • [p]Debuff from using a Cigar has been improved/nerfed[/p]
  • [p]Totem of Souls voice has been slightly improved[/p]
  • [p]Text-scaling can be changed in the Settings menu[/p]
  • [p]Small text improvements[/p]
  • [p]Small improvements and fixes to keybinds (especially AZERTY layout) and controllers[/p][p][/p]
