Help Us Name The Cars! - Devlog #10

Hello fellow mechanics!

We usually share details about the mechanics of the game in our devlog. The other thing is letting you know about the releases of our demos, playtests and such. We’re about to do something different today. And there’s a small surprise in the end, as we need your help.

As Rally Mechanic Simulator is a car game, we obviously need to have plenty of cool rides to whip around. You’ll have plenty of great vehicles to choose from over the course of your gameplay. This also includes the beginning of the game. In today’s entry, you’ll see all of the cars available in the lowest tier.

Without further ado, here are the cars!
Chaya

Sortes Vixa

Mizuduki

Saze

Tamashimi

Purdo

Hromaz
Looking neat, aren’t they?

As you can notice, there's only one word that names each car. This isn't how it's done, though. The thing we’d like to ask of you is to help name them. The first part of the name, the brand of the car, is already decided. These are what we have written above each car. However, you wouldn’t call a specific car only by its brand’s name. There needs to be a second part to it, the model name. Just like the demo has the Sortes Vixa (this one’s already named).

If you’d like to share your ideas for the cars’ names, please head over to our Discord server and write whatever your mind brings to mind! We also have quizzes about the world of rallying and talk cars, so it’s a pretty cool place to be. Join us - CLICK HERE

Rally Mechanic Simulator Demo's up now!

Our friends at Play2Chill have been working on Rally Mechanic Simulator for a while now. And the game’s almost around the corner. They’re going to have a demo released during the upcoming Steam Next Fest.

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

The demo will feature:
 • A workshop in which you’ll be able to fix and adapt your car for upcoming rallies.
 • 2 rallies (a tarmac and a gravel one) which differ quite a lot in terms of preparation and management.
 • A single car inspired by Japanese rally legends from the 90s.
 • A service park - the place in which you’ll be able to fix and clean your car during the rally.

If you’re up for some sweet sim gameplay and want to experience how it feels to be a part of a rally team, now is the time - click this link and download the demo. It’s a blast and you should give it a shot!

Rally Mechanic Simulator Dev Livestream!

Hello fellow mechanics!

The second best thing after playing Rally Mechanic Simulator’s demo? Watching one of the devs dig into it! Paweł Brągoszewski, one of the members of Play2Chill’s company, is fixing, modding and working under time pressure in our official livestream!

Paweł will be fixing and tweaking his Vixa (the car available in the demo) and having it race in rallies. Will he do well or will he struggle? Will he use the proper suspension and tyres, or will he go all over the place? Will his head gasket explode? Will he win the competitions he’ll take part in? All the answers to these questions and more in the upcoming livestream!

Tune in at 11 PM CET/2 PM PST today to Rally Mechanic Simulator’s Steam page to watch us play the game! We’ll also be present in the chat, so if you are going to have any questions regarding the game, we can talk about it :)

Make sure to play the demo yourself. It’s super fun and fairly challenging… And you’ll get to see whether you matched the performance of one of the people from the crew!
