This update is called “Below Decks” because most of the changes are not visible at first glance but have a significant impact on gameplay.
Main changes:
[/p]
- [p]In the previous update, we didn’t have time to add the new 7 versions of captain’s cabins with barricades and new combat event options. Now they are available in the game – there are a total of 14 cabin variations.
[/p] - [p]Fixed an issue where one of the enemies during boarding didn’t display an HP bar above their head.[/p]
- [p]Fixed broken boarding triggers for certain ships with battleships.[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue preventing players from completing the prison storyline quest if they had the treasure map set as the active marker.[/p]
- [p]Fixed the arena issue when replaying a fight against three enemies.[/p]
- [p]Improved jungle visuals: plants now have more shades of green and can display withered leaves instead of a static green color.[/p]
- [p]Added a condition: now only one event is possible before the start of boarding; on a second attempt, boarding will begin without additional events.[/p]
- [p]Ship AI no longer fires through rocks.[/p]
- [p]Ships now detect islands and try to avoid them.[/p]
- [p]Optimized fish scripts for better performance.[/p]
- [p]Fixed save issues after winning on deck during boarding.[/p]
- [p]VRAM usage optimization.
We also continue improving controller and Steam Deck support:
[/p] - [p]Increased the minimum font size for Steam Deck (now the text is more readable on a small screen).[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue with reopening chests using a controller.[/p]
- [p]Added the ability to close menus with a repeated button press on the controller.[/p]
