Content Sneak Peak - Drones, Force Impact, Sprint and Teleport!

Hi Survivors!
[p]Today, I’d like to show you the latest things we’ve been working on. The game is evolving every day, and your feedback helps us tailor it better to your needs and expectations. I’ll also have a question for you — and I’m counting on your help in choosing the right direction for the changes we want to introduce.[/p][p]What you’ll see in this post represents different stages of development — none of these features are final and all of them are still work in progress (not in the game yet).[/p][p]Without further ado, let’s get started![/p]
Drones
[p]As you already know from previous updates, we’re working on production automation. A very important part of this system will be drones that automatically gather resources for you and deliver them to the Machine.[/p][p] [/p][p]As you can see, they make resource gathering much easier — just point to the right resource and the drones will do all the work for you! All collected resources go into a shared inventory used by the players. Pretty neat, don’t you think?[/p]
Force Impact
[p]The second element we’re currently focusing on is improving the combat system. Many of you have shared feedback about this aspect — both on our Discord and here in the comments and reviews.[/p][p]We see the need to improve the character’s responsiveness during combat. One of the features we’re considering adding to the game is force impact.[/p][p][/p][p]As you can see, when the player character is hit by one of the zombies, they get knocked back away from the attacker. We wanted to give our combat system a bit more “weight” so that fights feel more impactful and satisfying.[/p]
Sprint
[p]Another element we’ve been working on is the sprint mechanic of your character. We need your feedback on the direction we should take. [/p]
 • [p]Part of the team supports a more dynamic sprint, like this (Version A). [/p][p][/p]
 • [p]Others suggest that a less dynamic and less visually pronounced version would be a better solution (Version B).[/p][p][/p]
[p]Be sure to let us know in the comments which version you prefer! [/p]
Teleport
[p]Yes, you read that right — we’re working on a teleportation mechanic.[/p][p]Some of you have probably experienced this situation before: you’re exploring, solving puzzles, or searching for secrets. Suddenly, you hear Pavel’s voice — the Machine is under attack![/p][p]You’ll be able to throw a teleport portal on the ground and use it to instantly return to the Machine.[/p][p][/p][p]But be careful — the teleport only works in one direction. It can transport you from the world to the Machine, never the other way around.[/p]
Wrap-Up
[p]That’s everything I wanted to share with you today![/p][p]As you can see, we’re working on several key areas — automation with drones, improvements to combat feel through force impact, refining the sprint mechanic, and introducing teleportation to make defending the Machine more dynamic and convenient. [/p][p]Each of these features is at a different stage of development, and your feedback plays a huge role in shaping their final form.[/p][p]Let us know what you think — especially when it comes to the sprint versions (A or B). Your opinions help us decide which direction to take.[/p][p]Thanks for being part of this journey, Survivors![/p][p]Dzięki
