Big Tunguska 2 Update; Mosin Nagant Ready to Go!

[p][/p][p][/p]
Tunguska 2 Dev Progress Update
[p][/p][p]Dear Ghoul Hunters,[/p][p]Happy New Year! Over the holidays, I was able to make some nice progress with the sequel - Tunguska 2: Whitefall. The game world can now transition from normal state to the fearsome Whitefall state![/p][p]The event begins with the white substance falling from the sky, gradually covering the ground. This period would last for days, during which some special gameplay would be available.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]And then when the "snow" stops, a visitation/blowout will take place, followed by a transition of the map into full Whitefall mode, with howling winds, freezing temps, foggy air, and something more scary...[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Fellow Ghoul Hunters, allow me to introduce to you the "Meatball", a type of Monolithic Manifestation (or MM). Like the Distortions, they are a reflection of what's going on in another dimension, linked to our own by the Whitefall; but unlike the Distortions, they are restless, invincible, and seem to have a mind of their own. They dominate the Zone during Whitefall, and you must stay vigilant![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]To be honest, even when I was test-playing, I was sufficiently scared by these things. I'm sure you'll feel the same when you play it! [/p][p]I recorded a gameplay video of the Whitefall which you can check out by visiting Tunguska 2's Steam page (Make sure to turn up the volume for the cool sound effects!). While there, don't forget to Follow and Wishlist![/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p]
One More Month Left to Play The Winter Event!
[p][/p][p]For folks who just got the game, don't forget to play the Winter Event which ends on February 12, 2026! Just head to Ravenwood, talk to Larry from the Continental Rangers, and ask him about his Christmas![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Milestone Weapon Drop - Mosin Nagant!
[p][/p][p]For all these years, I have been shying away from adding bolt-action rifles to the game, mainly because I had no idea how to do the bolt action animation. But after realizing how much you wanted the Mosin Nagant rifle, I decided to face my fear and get my hands dirty. [/p][p]Voila! After a lot of trial and error, I was finally able to accomplish a nice, smooth bolt action animation, as you can see below. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
More Gameplay Improvements in 1.95-8 Update!
[p][/p]
