Tunguska: The Visitation - Final Cut News

Update 1.74-3 Patch Notes

- Attempted to fix a bug where the roof doesn't disappear when you walk into a building, or when you try to sleep in a bed. I haven't been able to reproduce the issue, so I don't know if this fix will work. Please let me know if you notice this again.

- For instances where you have interviewed Roman but somehow you still have the "interview a ghoul hunter" task, I will make sure this task gets completed if you have already interviewed Roman.

- You will gain a +15% relationship buff with the Elite Cossacks after you complete the quest to take back Oblenska.

Update 1.74-2 Patch Notes

- After completing the hitman job and reaching Erase level, Haruko will start selling crow feather for you to craft Tenchu-Ya. But the crows won't drop feathers until NG+.

- Ravens will occasionally land on dead bodies in the open. Making them very easy targets.

- Fixed a bug where a scripted event that adds new items to a trader's inventory clears out pre-exiting static items in his inventory.

- Ensured that if you have arrived at Tunguska, you will get the The Journey Begins achievement.

- Shortened the task descriptions for several tasks, ensuring that they will display as two lines instead of three, causing overlap with other tasks.

- Stopped border patrol map from spawning new enemies.

- Fixed several collider issues.

Update 1.74-1 Patch Notes

- Further improved the auto-arrange functionality of the inventory grids

- Swapped out Sidor's obnoxious music with some nice cello arrangements.

Update 1.74 Is Ready! And Slaughterhouse DLC Update!

I have just finished building the scene for Slaughterhouse DLC. It took me almost two months, but it looks awesome :)

With the biggest chunk of work out of the way, I was coding for the enemy spawning mechanism and the Ethereal Trader who will sell you all the items in the game throughout the battles. This progressed pretty fast and in a few days I'll be able to start slaughtering :)

Check out this atmospheric shot of the Slaughterhouse map below:

Now, here are some improvements I made in 1.74:

- You will now receive caustic damage from getting puked on by the spitters. A tutorial will pop up on the first time telling you that you must use clean water (from the wells) to wash off the caustic damage. Just right click on the bottle water and then click "Use". Or, you can just wait for the effect to wear off.

- When you have bleeding effect or caustic damage effect, the screen will flash red blood so that you don't overlook it.

- Now, if you eat food, the green bar will slowly convert to energy (blue bar). But if you sit next to a campfire, this process goes faster, and you'll also receive more energy from the eaten calories than when you are away from campfire.

- If you keep your energy level almost full, your stamina restore speed will be significant higher. If you are pretty much 100%, your stamina will restore even faster. This change aims to reduce the amount of frustration when you use melee weapon and run out of stamina - as long as you are well fed.

- Improved the auto-arrange feature, now it'll try to rotate the item if it doesn't fit.

- Hans Eppstein from Zernaskaya Village will sometimes sell you fertilizer.

- Changed the hotkey to switch between Sidearm 1 and Sidearm 2 while in the inventory, from ALT key to CTRL key. This is to prevent confusion when player Alt-Tab out of the game.

- Added sound effect for when you get shot at. Now it sounds like it hurts! Again, another little detail I learned from call of duty...

- Not sure if I mentioned this before - but with control schemes with auto-aim, the red crosshair will now appear at wherever the gun is aiming at, instead of at the foot.

Update 1.73-4 Patch Notes

- Fixed an issue with VSS aiming a little too low, causing difficulty hitting crows using auto-lock-on controls

- Fixed an issue with auto-lock-on aiming at animals too high, causing missed shots

- Decreased the muzzle velocity of 5.45x39mm guns because the faster bullets tend to miss collision at lower frame rates

- Slightly increased the damage of M16 and 5.56x45mm ammo for balancing.
