[p]Our next seasonal update is dropping on January 29th and brings an enchanting Lunar New Year Pack, completely free to all players and available to use year-round via the main menu toggle! [/p][p]
We know this is early, but we want all your hotels to be beautifully decorated in time for the New Year on February 17th.

So now we can get onto the spoiler bit - avert your eyes if you don't want to see what's coming to the game in the next big update!
[/p][h3]What’s Inside the Pack?[/h3][p]The add-on is packed with rich, thematic elements to help transform your hotel into a vibrant Lunar New Year celebration:[/p]

• [p]New Materials: Perfect for themed suites, particularly the bright red lantern wallpaper![/p]
• [p]Structural Details: 2 types of windows with 2 variations each.[/p]

[/p][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p][/p][h3]Getting the Pack[/h3][p]Simply update the game on/after January 29th. The Lunar New Year Pack will appear in the Add-ons section of the main menu. You can toggle it on and off as you like all year round alongside the Christmas and Halloween Add-ons.[/p][p] The Lunar New Year content update will land in combination with staff training and management, but we will go into details on those in next week's blog, so keep your eyes peeled! - The Hotel Architect Team[/p]

The team are now back from their holidays too and we're working on our next update which we're very happy to say it will be landing in game on January 29th.

We know many of you have been asking for more management tools and ways to make your hotel more customizable. Well, the wait is almost over!

Before we get into the update details, we also wanted to announce that Hotel Architect will have a free play weekend at the end of the month. This will be access to the full game, so if you have friends that haven't tried yet, they can give the game a go from January 29th to February 2nd!

• [p]You’ll be able to train up to five skills per staff member in the staffroom![/p]
• [p]Plus, we’ve added new skills and personalities to make your staff feel more unique and give you more strategic choices as well.

[p][/p][p]Lunar New Year Pack[/p][p]Celebrate the year of the horse with our next seasonal add-on pack for Lunar New Year. Yes we know, it's a bit early, but this means more time to make your hotels beautiful for the festivities! Included in the add-on pack will be:[/p]

• [p]2 new outfits[/p]
• [p]New structural items and wallpapers too.[/p]

• [p]Added template outfits for bellhop in Character Creator. [/p]

• [p]Changed guest payment from nightly to full payment at check-out. [/p]
• [p]Changed price and attractiveness value in Austrian sofa (to match other premium sofas). [/p]
• [p]Fixed bug that sometimes prevented critics from paying for their stay. [/p]
• [p]Fixed bug that caused guests to not throw consumed protein shakes in bins. [/p]
• [p]Fixed an exploit that allowed land leasing items to be duplicated. [/p]
• [p]Fixed bug in loan repayment function. [/p]
• [p]Fixed zooming speed (consistent regardless of FPS).[/p]
• [p]Fixed mouse-drag panning at low FPS.[/p]
• [p]Improved performance in temperature system.[/p]

Room Service[/h3][p]Room service is a luxury hotel service for your guests and is ideally for established hotels! Brats and Upper Crust will use room service more than other guests so make sure you cater to all guest types!

In order to successfully setup room service you will need to:[/p]

• [p]Use upgrade points to unlock both room service and bellhops! [/p]

• [p]Hire the new bellhops as they will be the ones delivering the room service orders[/p]
• [p]Place a room service table in every guest room[/p]
• [p]Make sure your hotel is able to serve drinks for room service via the restaurant[/p]

[h3] [/h3][h3]Bellhops[/h3]

• [p]Use upgrade points to unlock both room service and bellhops! [/p]
• [p]Hire the new bellhops as they will be the ones moving guests suitcases to rooms[/p]
• [p]Guests arrive with luggage and head to check in[/p]
• [p]Once checked, the guests head to their rooms [/p]
• [p]Bellhop will then take luggage to room and place on holder until it can be taken to the guest room[/p]

[p][/p][h3]Christmas Add-On![/h3][p]The holidays are here, and so is our festive add-on. In order to turn this on, you must go into the add-on menu in the main game menu before playing. You can toggle it on and off as you please and it does stay all year round!

In the add-on you'll find:[/p]

• [p]Furniture: Cozy fireplaces, decorated trees, and sparkling lights to transform your hotel into a winter wonderland.[/p]
• [p]Outfits: Dress your team and guests in cheerful holiday attire to spread joy.[/p][p][/p]
