This isn't a full overhaul — but it's one of our most important steps so far in terms of refining the player experience.[/p][hr][/hr][h2]🎮 What’s new in v1.0.3?[/h2][h3]✅ Improved Gameplay Flow[/h3]
  • [p]The UI during battles has been refined, making it easier to select cards, assign parts, and understand available actions.[/p]
  • [p]The flow of turns feels more intuitive and responsive — no more clunky decision-making![/p]

  • [p]Several balance tweaks were applied to enemy stats, damage, and rewards to smooth out the difficulty curve.[/p]
  • [p]We've addressed a major issue where players could exploit the game by focusing on a single weak enemy part to break the combat system. That’s no longer viable — strategy now matters more than ever.[/p]

🤖 Greetings, gamers from Earth who love cards very much!

As a game that has a big focus on card battles (after all, we’re a self-proclaimed card battler, so this should track), a lot of our efforts goes into making cards that look good and feel interesting to play. We want MegaBattle to have players enjoy doing runs with all these cool and different cards that can be obtained for their decks. In our efforts to keep all of you excited for our releases in the near future, especially for our next demo build, we wanna show you some card illustrations as a sample of our hard work!

Gamescom Latam

Greetings, human warriors of the MegaBattle community!

This past weekend, the MegaBattle team attended Gamescom LATAM! While we didn’t have a special booth for the game at the event this year, we still got to meet other devs, talk about games, make connections, receive feedback, and even attended a special Steam Q&A where we got to hear from other developers and members of the Valve team about how to improve our experience here on Steam and with our production pipeline as a whole.

We look forward to improving our communication with our community, to bring you news more often, and to grow our support from gamers, especially those who love roguelike deckbuilders. Not only we’re looking to expand our playerbase, but also we’d love to have more feedback that could make MegaBattle into an awesome gaming experience.

Dev updates | New cards, gameplay balance & bug fixes.

Our last demo build has been out for some months now, and, since then, our team has been working hard to bring big changes to the next build. We’ve been holding frequent meetings about our game design and how to make it deep, interesting, and close to what we envisioned for a thrilling deckbuilder experience!

As some of you might know, our combat system includes cards that are tied to specific robot parts and classes, which allows for diverse fights and strategies where the player can experiment, mix, and match powers and cards to fit their preferred style. To make our backend development process more efficient and allow for deeper experimentation, our dev team is working on a special tool that allows us to test different cards and robots with different parts and classes. Our system is working so well, in fact, that we’re also thinking about other ways to implement its use, including making it available eventually to players who also want to test and customize their battles.

Many facets of our operation have gone through some restructuring since our last update, but we’re still diligent in our work and hope to bring you a new build soon! In the meantime, feel welcome to join our official Discord server where you can provide feedback to our game and also keep up with devlogs! We’d love to have our community expand, so hop in and let’s make it happen!
