While this isn’t a full content update, it brings crucial refinements that make fights feel more responsive, strategic, and satisfying.[/p][hr][/hr][h3]🧠 Smarter Combat[/h3][p]Introducing the Damage Predictor:
You can now preview how your attack will affect the enemy’s armor, integrity, and special traits like plated and spiked — even during enemy turns.
This makes planning your moves much more transparent and strategic.[/p][p]We also added a radar effect that shows when your parts are being targeted — giving you more clarity on incoming threats.[/p][hr][/hr][h3]👁️ Visual Feedback & UI Polish[/h3]
  • [p]Turn display is now centered and more prominent (“Your Turn” / “Enemy Turn”).[/p]
  • [p]Enemy hands now retain played cards with a transparent effect — you can track what’s been used.[/p]
  • [p]Cards now have hover effects in rewards and battles that feel more responsive.[/p]
  • [p]The workshop panel now only shows unequipped parts, making management easier.[/p]
  • [p]Stats like PWR, DEF, and status effects now use icons (ongoing update).[/p]
  • [p]Battle tooltips have been reworked to avoid visual clutter and now scale with text.[/p]
  • [p]ESC now opens settings in battle (soon across all menus).[/p]
  • [p]Deck and discard buttons + tooltips are now functional during and after battles.[/p]

  • [p]Power-up cards now require a confirmation click after placing them in the center.[/p]
  • [p]Robots start with a weak torso, but can equip a standard one with a modifier — a meaningful early-game decision.[/p]
  • [p]Better hover zones for cards in the hand (you don’t have to go all the way up to un-hover).[/p]
  • [p]New tutorial triggers to help first-time players.[/p]
  • [p]And yes, the card and part emoji cleanup is in progress![/p]

  • [p]Fixed map nodes spawning too close together.[/p]
  • [p]Recharge cards now work correctly.[/p]

  • [p]Acidic Conduit now correctly triggers synergy effects with cards like Sulfuric Veins.[/p]
  • [p]The integrity bar has been stabilized to stop it from shifting unexpectedly.[/p]

🤖 Greetings, gamers from Earth who love cards very much!

As a game that has a big focus on card battles (after all, we’re a self-proclaimed card battler, so this should track), a lot of our efforts goes into making cards that look good and feel interesting to play. We want MegaBattle to have players enjoy doing runs with all these cool and different cards that can be obtained for their decks. In our efforts to keep all of you excited for our releases in the near future, especially for our next demo build, we wanna show you some card illustrations as a sample of our hard work!

Greetings, human warriors of the MegaBattle community!

This past weekend, the MegaBattle team attended Gamescom LATAM! While we didn’t have a special booth for the game at the event this year, we still got to meet other devs, talk about games, make connections, receive feedback, and even attended a special Steam Q&A where we got to hear from other developers and members of the Valve team about how to improve our experience here on Steam and with our production pipeline as a whole.

We look forward to improving our communication with our community, to bring you news more often, and to grow our support from gamers, especially those who love roguelike deckbuilders. Not only we’re looking to expand our playerbase, but also we’d love to have more feedback that could make MegaBattle into an awesome gaming experience.
