The Update 5 is now live, you'll find below the complete patch notes. New long levels, multiple improvements to the level editor and various bug fixes to make your in-game experience ever better!

Additions
  • Four New Long Levels in the Forge! BFL-5 and BFL-6, Normal and Hard variations.
Improvements
  • Larger hook magnet detection zone (grappling is easier).
  • Recon explosive barrels are now slightly easier to shoot.
  • The switcher gun (used in bonus 9 for example) now shows 0 ammo, as intended.
  • Top World / Tops World with Assists leaderboard display is now more relevant depending if assists are on or off.
  • The monkeys seek vengeance.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed the Mouse Sensitivity display in the Controls menu.
  • Ironsight and Slowmotion descriptions now indicate the right setting
  • Fixed and issue where the Bronze time Assistance will still make appear the "Try Again" screen
Accessibility
  • Disabled levers now have a glowing red symbol.

We’re adding plenty of new content with today’s update, bringing a new chapter with its batch of original levels and two new gears: the Grappling Hook and the Rocket Launcher! Check out the fresh new content from this update in the trailer!

[h2]New challenges await you[/h2]

This new update starts unveiling Chapter 3, which the community has been awaiting, bringing 24 new and more open levels, as well as new bonus levels. You’ll find several challenges in two different difficulty modes—normal and hard—and bonus levels to unlock thanks to feats and discoveries.

Fire your weapon through The Forge, a hellish new environment. Spill demon blood all over its wide rooms, and face ever more ferocious enemies, ever difficult goals! Be even faster than before, choose the right weapons and reach the finish line within the time limit.



[h2]New weapons and new explosive ability[/h2]

On top of other recent updates, which already introduced new challenges, a new ability, new content for the Level Editor and various improvements, this update brings the Grappling Hook and the Rocket Launcher! Use your hook on platforms to increase your speed and taste the power of an all-new weapon to blast all enemies standing on your way. Finally, thanks to the implementation of an aim-assist, you may now kill your opponents in style using an impressive 360 noscope of the highest standard!

  • Turret mode is no longer enabled by default for the Scrik’o’ra.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed the ammunition settings for the Carabine.
  • Fixed a bug where the Carabine appeared in already published levels.
  • Fixed various focus issues when changing menus.
  • 10 Carbine bullets are added in all the community levels created on a previous version
  • The magazins and bullets values for the Carbine always come back to 2

[h2]The Warstride journey continues[/h2]

Following its recent Early Access launch on Steam, Warstride has already dropped a series of updates, introducing 24 new challenges by adding the Very Hard levels to Chapters 1 and 2, a deadly new power—Stomp, a more accessible Level Editor, and improved UI and functionality with a new main menu and bug fixes.

Even more lands today with 4 new ‘Big Fun Levels’ added to Chapters 1 and 2 in Very Hard, as well as new content for the level editor such as the Carabine! The community has a lot to still look forward to in Warstride Challenges! Read down below for the complete patch notes!



[h2]Race, aim, fire![/h2]

In intense trials, blast hordes of demons at lightning speed before the timer runs out. Die and retry to get to the finish line and achieve the highest score. Since its launch in Early Access, many players and influencers have battled through the game—their reactions were priceless!

Warstride Challenges is a community-driven game at heart where you can share your experience with others. Compete with anyone — be it friends, foes or streamers — in the Nemesis Mode, where you can race asynchronously in any challenge. The community has also already made incredible use of the game’s Level Editor, with some notorious trials already available to test your mettle.

Additions
  • 4 new BFL (Very Hard Crypt & Ruins)
  • Ruins-16 Very Hard heavily modified (Scores and Ghosts for the level have been reset)
Improvements
  • Improved tunnel collisions in Ruins-21.
Bug Fixes
  • The slide animation has been fixed.
  • We can't create a profile after sending a name request offline
  • Quick scrolling through the leaderboards jumbles the text
  • Tab doesn't cycle correctly when using A & E in the level selection menu
  • Closing the community level window after leaving a level bring back to the chapter selection menu
  • Bunny Hop II: Main level medals are displayed on the scorescreen instead of "A,B,C" medals
  • When players have too many weapons the 5th one will not appear in the bottom right corner
  • Using "Return to menu" in the pause menu should bring back to the Main Menu
Accessibility
  • New button icon added for when a button is off.
  • Button icon changes with the color when activated.
  • The Lever Activation sound is now louder.
LEVEL EDITOR

Additions
  • Added the Carabine to Weapon Selection.
  • Added Stomp to Power Selection.
  • Added Logic to Trigger Boxes.
  • Activation Delay: Delays activation of all linked elements.
  • Reset: Removes all linked elements.
  • Added additional Logic to enemy spawns:
  • Activation Delay: Delays enemy spawn time in seconds.
  • Is Optional Spawner: The enemy does not need to be killed to finish the level.
  • Turret Mode: Enemies remain in place of their spawn.
Improvements
  • Right-side Panel has been reworked :
  • New UI (Not final design)
  • Separate sections for Game Rules, Loadout, and Logic.
  • Trigger boxes and enemies now fall under Logic in the Side Panel.
  • Enemies linked to a trigger box are now labeled
Bug Fixes
  • Load and Delete buttons disappear if the map name is too long
  • Help panel remains when opening the settings menu
  • Directional controls stop working after using the level editor guide link
  • You can overwrite your previous level if you quit to main menu and restart a new map
  • Can't go back with the cursor in the Submit level textbox
  • Added helpers are out of step with the preview
  • Camera and Shortcuts become locked after canceling a level submission.

Warstride Challenges ramps up the challenge with its first update!

2 weeks after its Early Access launch, Warstride Challenges releases its first update today, available for all players on Steam! The first of many, this update sees the arrival of Very Hard mode for Chapter 1, and improvements for the Level Editor.

This first update gives you a first taste of the Very Hard difficulty level, unlocking it for Chapter 1 with 12 additional levels. Do you have what it takes to beat the clock? Furthermore, many improvements and fixes have been made, with a focus on making the Level Editor more accessible and precise with quality of life improvements and additional blocks. More details in the patch notes below. A Level Editor Guide has also been created to give you tips about map creation. Creating your own devious and sadistic trials is now easier than ever - let your imagination run wild and don’t hesitate to share your creations with the community!
